This is a picture of me actually using some of earlier prototypes. These prototypes were a little to long so the latest prototypes were shorter and much more comfortable while in use.
I want to now explain to you what the product is going to do for you the gamer. I have found the analog sticks a little stiff and a little short. Over an extended gaming period of a game like Halo, my thumbs would be a little sore from the stiffness and the height of the sticks. I also never felt like aiming was real easy with these analogs. The analogs on the 360 controller are real durable and are probably some of the best on the market.
Now, you might ask, how is adding length to the analog stick going to help me play games better. Well here is the answer. Just about everyone out there understands basic physics and ergonomics. If you make a joystick longer, it adds leverage to that joystick, thus making it easier to move. Also, by adding length to the joystick, you add more travel distance to the outer tip of this joystick. How does this help a gamer? Well, two main things this does for the gamer. First, it makes the analogs easier to move with the extra leverage. This should help the stress level your thumbs feel while playing games. Second, it adds travel to the surface of the analog your thumb is on. What, it adds travel? How could this help and not hurt? Well, since you are not having to exert so much force to move the analog, the extra travel really doesn't bother you. But how does this help? Well imagine while aiming at an opponent in a FPS game. If you add some travel to the analog, you slow down the aiming slightly in the game, thus allowing you to aim more precisely and more accurate. We have found that we might have to adjust our sensitivity a little in bit in the game, but even by doing this, you are still giving a lot more control and precision on aiming.
So to sum it up. More leverage = less force to move. More length = more precise character movement and more precise aiming. Why would any gamer not want a set of these?

New Adapter Offers Wireless Convenience for Wii Nunchuk Owners
LOS ANGELES - January 29, 2008 - Nyko Technologies (R), a premier peripherals manufacturer, today announced that they will release the Cord-Free wireless adapter for the Wii Nunchuk this February.
While the highly anticipated award winning Wireless Nunchuck for Wii is a brand-new standalone product, the Cord-Free wireless adapter for Wii Nunchuk differentiates from its sibling by converting your standard wired Nunchuk into a wireless peripheral. The adapter adds a convenient self-standing sleeve for the wired Nunchuk and a wireless signal dongle to the bottom of your Wii Remote. A small dongle provides lag-free wireless connection between your Wii Remote and Nunchuk and adds up to 15 feet of wireless range. The self-standing Nunchuk sleeve features a convenient compact cord management system keeping the existing Nunchuk cord organized and out of site. The Cord-Free wireless adapter for the Wii Nunchuk runs on two AAA batteries (included) and provides up to 60 hours of continuous gameplay.
"Nyko is dedicated to providing outstanding wireless solutions for Wii gamers," said Chris Arbogast, Marketing Director at Nyko Technologies. "We want to provide multiple options for those looking to untangle their Wii experience."
Nyko's Cord-Free wireless adapter for the Wii Nunchuk will be available at retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $19.99.

When we mean cheap, we dont mean price but we mean the thought behind the peripheral. If you thought flood of plastic Wii accessories were bad, this might be up there. PEGA has released a Wireless Vibration Grip with FM Radio for your SIXAXIS controller. This is their solution for those who cant afford to purchased a Dual Shock 3 (black/white).
The vibrating adapter connects to the controller while the other adapter connects to the back of the PlayStation 3. Since its an adapter, it wont rumble based on gameplay. It will rumble based on sound in the game. For those who are interested, it costs $17 and ships free. I'm tempted to review the item but if I do, I may be scarred for life.

Our inside source of all things video gaming has been right almost every time it comes out of the shadows to give us information, so I'm going to dispense with the back story. Wherever his or her information is coming from, it's usually solid. After I spoke to Sony about the possible discontinuation of the 80GB PS3 model, I lit the mole-signal.
Working late into the night on Saturday, I heard a noise behind me. For both of our safety, I didn't turn around. "You've talked to Sony," the mole said in a gravelly whisper. "Tell me what they told you."
I repeated the information we reported on Friday: Sony is sticking to a two-model approach at retail, but the company won't comment on whether or not the other model would be the 80GB system. The 40GB system seems safe. I asked the mole what information he had.
"Sony is, in fact, phasing out the 80GB PS3. Sony is going to stay with the two-SKU approach though, and the prices look to stay the same," the mole told me. I heard sirens in the background, and the mole seemed nervous. "The Spiderman 3 pack-in will disappear as well once the 80GB unit is gone. In order to maintain a similar value proposition to the 80GB/Spiderman 3 bundle, I expect to see a storage increase to 120 or 160GB at the same price point, plus the new Dual-Shock 3 controller..."
No word on when this is released if true. Theres also no information as to whether it will have backwards compatibility, card reader or how many USB ports it will have. If this new SKU'd PS3 is the same exact thing as the current 80GB and same price just only bigger harddrive and includes Dual Shock 3, early adopters will be screwed over by Sony,
