Microsoft and Activision are giving Xbox 360 owners something to truly be thankful for: the Halo theme (MJOLNIR Mix edition, featuring fretwork by none other than Steve Vai) is coming to Guitar Hero III. Though the track was rumored to be included in Guitar Hero II (it wasn't) and fans took the situation into their own hands, making custom tracks (as evidenced by the video below), we have to admit we were more than a little disappointed learning it wasn't in the GH3 retail package. But now, thanks to the miracle of downloadable content, that wrong will be most certainly righted.
How much will the privilege of playing one of gaming's most beloved (not to mention most rocking) scores in Guitar Hero III cost you? How does 0 Microsoft Points sound to you?

With Rock Band finally released, gamers will need to find a way to store the drums. Its cool to have it laying around but it may take up space and can be an eyesore. Rock Band online store has bags for both your guitar and drum kit.
The drum bag retails for $49.99 and the guitar bag retails for $19.99. They also carry guitar skins and guitar straps for $11.99 and $9.99, respectively.

Well, its a little past the 1 year birthday mark for the PlayStation 3 and Wii, as both launched a year ago in the US. The DS just went on 3 years since it launched in the US as well.
With the DS, PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 being found easily in stores, what are your thoughts on the hard to find Wii? Its near impossible to find in the US. What about in other countries, are you feeling the same effect with shortages?
If the Wii is sold out and parents are unable to buy it for their kids, which system do you think parents will get next to fulfill the kids wishlist?
Discuss your opinion on shortages and the upcoming holiday shopping. We want to know what you have to say!

After installing and reviewing D2CKey, the people behind the first D2C modchip for the Wii has announced a new product that will help streamline installation of the D2Ckey.
The FlexPCB for D2CKey streamlines installation of D2CKey reducing the overall time spend fitting the chip. The FlexPCB is available seperately at additional cost.
Although installation with the FlexPCB is quicker, installation of D2CKey is still best left to professional, experienced mod chip installers!
No word on how exactly the FlexPCB works but when we find out more, we'll bring it to you!

Nintendo has underestimated the demand for their soon to be released Nintendo DS TV Tuner. The TV Tuner is to be released in Japan on November 23rd for 6,800 yen (about $60USD). Since the peripheral is not a game, Nintendo started to accept orders without making prior announcements regarding placing orders which started on November 8th.
The TV Tuner allows the DS to pick up Japan's 1seg TV broadcast service. No word if a TV Tuner would be released in the US or in Europe but it is available for purchase at Play-Asia.
Here are some images of the TV Tuner.

This is only available by picking up a copy of PSW...
Taking the already existing L2 and R2 trigger buttons that somehow never felt quite right with your sausages slipping under the pad in the midst of a gravel busting, double timed lap on Sega Rally or MotorStorm or when you're finger slips mid firefight in Call Of Duty 4 and a grenade blows up in your face (it happens, you know). Now with the power of plastic we have crafted when can only be described as the ultimate gaming apparel - THE PS3 PRO TRIGGERS.
Featuring the most simple installation method known to man (remove from plastic and attach to L2 and R2 trigger buttons) these family friendly wonders are not available in shops and probably never will be so if you're sitting reading this and wondering to yourself "Where the hell can I get my awesomely awesome PS3 Pro Triggers?" the answer is - only with the Playstation magazine extravaganza PSW!
So rise up, put on your pants and get yourself down to the shops and pick up a copy! You'll never look back!

Infectus has posted on their website that they will have a D2C modchip that will only consist of 13 wires to install which includes the gnd and vcc (D2CKey required 31 wires). They also stated that in the next few days, a new programmer will be released.
No pictures how of the chip will look like but when available, we'll post it. But when this is released, this would be the second D2C modchip for the Wii.
