CheapyD of CheapAssGamer.com has got his hands on Wii Fit which recently released in Japan. Cheapy gives us the unboxing of Wii Fit by showing us what the box looks like, the inside of the box and what it contains. Sorry, no humorous images from Nintendo except for turning the box upside down to take the Balance Board out.
Wii Fit wont be available until beginning of 2008 for the rest of the world but if you have a Japanese system or a mod, you can pick it up at Play-Asia for a whopping $190!

If you love modding, love gaming and a HUGE Star Wars fan, here is a chance to a one of a kind piece of artwork. Without question, the item you see consists of everything we just mentioned. The AT-AT Gamecube mod (also referred to as the AT-GC in some circles) was built a few years back, but now the proud creator has decided to cash out and let the highest bidder take ownership. This beast maintains the original heatsink and cooling fans, and comes with the AT-AT pilot, four Wavebird controllers and a pair of memory cards.
It has been posted on eBay (twice already) but for whatever reason, eBay keeps ending the listing. But here is a video the creator has made.
*UPDATE*
New eBay auction link can be found here.

Nyko Classic Controller Grip
Manufacturer: Nyko
Site:
Price: $19.95
Overview : Play the classics with convenience and comfort with the Classic Controller Grip for Wii. The Classic Controller Grip provides the best possible experience while playing with the Classic Controller on the Wii. The ergonomically designed grips give the Classic Controller a less-strenuous feel, providing long lasting comfort during intense retro-gaming sessions. The Wii Remote Mount clips onto the back of the Classic Controller allowing for basic menu navigation while keeping the remote and cord conveniently out of the way during gameplay.
Features :- Ergonomic: Specially designed grips provide a comfortable hold for long game sessions
- Remote Cradle: Easily attach the Wii Remote to the Classic Controller for convenient control and navigation
- Pointer Functionality: Use the Wii Remotes unique pointer functionality while attached to the Classic Controller
- Cord Management: Keep your game time tangle free with the cord management system integrated into the Classic Controller Grip
- Provides comfortable grips for the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller
- Easy snap-on assembly
- Wii Remote mount attaches remote to Classic Controller
- Organizes the Classic Controller cord
- Comfortably play retro games without messy wires
Quality/Usability : One of the nice features of the Nintendo Wii is the ability to play your favorite classic games ranging from old school NES, N64, Genesis and many more. But in order to play these games, you'll need a classic controller and in order to use the classic controller, you'll need to connect it to the Wii Remote controller.
That is where the Nyko Classic Controller Grip comes in handy. The Classic Controller Grip consists of two plastic pieces; grip for Classic Controller and clear plastic to hold Wii Remote. In between the two plastic pieces, you'll be able to wrap the cord from the Classic Controller around for cable management. Without the Nyko Classic Controller Grip, the Wii Remote would be dangling and you'll have a hard time moving around with the controller dangling while holding the Classic Controller.
Installing the Classic Controller Grip is easy as as opening the package. Simply slip the Classic Controller Grip into the grip, wrap the cord around the plastics, slide the Wii Remote into the plastic holder and connect cable to controller.
Conclusion : Overall, the Nyko Classic Controller Grip makes playing Virtual Console games a lot easier. Not only does it make things easier when playing, its light weight and comfortable to hold. You can also remove the Wii Remote and leave the Classic Controller still connected. This allows for easy setup for later use simply by re-attaching the Wii Remote. Only downside of this is that any Wii buttons under the "A" button such as the HOME, (-), (+), 1 and 2, is obscured and inaccessible due to the Classic Controller being in the way. Oh yea, the price is the same as the Classic Controller itself.

XCM White 360 HDMI 1080i Cable
Manufacturer: XCM
Site: Buy from Goldenshop
Price: $65.00
Overview : Another exclusive product from XCM, this cable will let you connect your non HDMI Xbox 360 with an HDMI cable to a HDTV or DVI monitor with a high resolution signal of 1080i thanks to XCM HDMI 1080i Cable for Xbox 360 without HDMI Port.
You can now enjoy the same resolutions than people with Xbox 360 Elite!
Features :- High quality 3rd party product.
- Converts the analog signal to digital signal and acts as a HDMI digital signal solution for HDMI-less Xbox 360's.
- Comes extra RCA sockets and optical socket for connection to speakers.
- Comes with a HDMI to DVI adapter - can be used on a PC monitor as well as a HDTV.
Quality/Usability : Recently within the past year, Microsoft has started to include HDMI port to all Xbox 360 consoles. Unfortunately, for those early adopters playing on a HD TV/monitor are left with a HDMI-less Xbox 360 unless they went out and bought a new Xbox 360 with HDMI port on it.
But those who's original white Xbox 360 didnt succumb to the RRoD (Red Ring of Death) and/or still have the original white Xbox 360, can now have the same ability to play in HD just like all new owners of the Xbox 360. XCM has filled that void by releasing a White 360 HDMI 1080i Cable. Included is HDMI cable, HDMI to DVI adapter, and XCM's nifty device that converts signal to HD.
Setup is fairly easy (video below). With the HDMI 1080i Cable, you'll get up to 1080i output from your original white Xbox 360. The same as if you were to get a Xbox 360 Premium, Elite or Halo 3 edition. To get this setup, simply connect the device to the back of the Xbox 360. Take the HDMI cable and connect it to the other end of the device and the other end of the cable to your monitor/HD TV. If you dont have a HDMI port on your monitor, you can use the included HDMI to DVI adapter.
Connect via HDMI
Just remember that HDMI supports digital audio through the cable but DVI does not, so you'll need to connect speakers. The device has two RCA audio jacks (red/yellow) for those who are using DVI. If you have speakers that also has RCA audio jacks, simply plug it into the HDMI device.
Once all cables are connected, simply turn on the Xbox 360 and you will now have an original white Xbox 360 capable of running in HD via HDMI/DVI. The HDMI device also has a power indicator to let you know that the product is turned on and in use. From what I have tested, the visual quality is the same using this adapter and connecting the Xbox 360 directly to the HDTV via HDMI. I didnt notice any loss of quality.
Conclusion : Overall, the XCM White 360 HDMI 1080i Cable is the best solution for those wanting to play in HD on their original white HDMI-less Xbox 360. The only thing I dont like about the White 360 HDMI 1080i Cable is the size of the device. Its approximately 5" wide. Thats not including the cable. But those who still have the original Xbox 360 and want to play in HD via HDMI should consider looking into this device.
If you're running out of HDMI ports, consider looking into Talismoon HDMI Switcher with Remote, XCM HDMI/DVI Crossover Selector for additional HDMI/DVI ports.

Remember AM3 and its attempt at bringing downloadable anime to the Game Boy Advance? They're back with their latest product, and this time it's for the world-beating DS.
The company unveiled today DSvision, a download service that promises to bring comics, books, magazines, anime, movies, and television programs to the Japanese DS. The service downloads content to special microSD flash cards, which are then plugged into the DS via a special adapter cartridge.
Fully licensed by Nintendo, the service will begin in full force over in Japan in March 2008. In coopration with its majority share-holder Dai Nippon Printing, a major Japanese printing company, am3 will open up an online shop for downloading content. The firms will also be working with NTT for the distribution of movies and other high memory content.
Specific titles were not announced today, but am3 does have high hopes for the service. The firm expects to capture 10% of the DS's current 20 million userbase. When the service starts, it expects to have 300 titles available for download, expanding to 10,000 by 2010. am3 hopes to reach 20,000,000 downloads per year by 2010, with total sales of one billion yen over the next three years.
Pricing for content was also not announced today, but the firm expects the priciest content to go for 1,000 yen, or close to $10 US.
In January, am3 will hold a test of the service. Interested parties will be able to purchase a 3,980 yen set consisting of the microSD adapter cartridge, a 512 megabyte special microSD card designed for exclusive use with the DS Vision service, and a USB reader. In the future, the firm is considering offering the adapter for free in order to minimize barriers to the service.
This service is only for Japan at the moment. However, with Nintendo's full backing, if the service takes off, we wouldn't be surprised to see it expand to other territories.
With the success of the flash carts such as R4DS, M3 Simply, CycloDS Evolution, G6 Flash, EZ-Flash and many others, Nintendo decided to take a stab at it..kinda, by licensing a similar/look-a-like product. But its main intended purpose is for it to be a download service that promises to bring comics, books, magazines, anime, movies, and television programs to the Japanese DS.

Hi everyone. As you may have heard, we’re introducing a great solution to get longer battery life from your PSP. The new PSP Extended Life Battery Kit includes a 2200 mAh battery pack that can double the battery life of the new PSP model (PSP 2000). Because the extended-life battery is slightly thicker than the one that comes with the new PSP, we’ve included two custom covers in “Piano Black” and “Ice Silver.” Those of you with the original PSP (PSP 1000) may recall that we offered an extended life battery pack (the stamina battery) previously, and this battery remains compatible with that system as well.
The new battery kit will be available at retailers for $44.99 (MSRP) in mid-December – just in time to get you through your holiday travels and any long delays at the airports…

Legend of Zelda Wii Messenger Bag
Manufacturer: ALS Industries
Site:
Price: $54.95
Overview : The Legend of Zelda Wii Messenger Bag (Z180) is an official Nintendo licensed product. It can hold Wii Console, games, Wii remote, Nunchuk, Wii sensor bar and AC Adapter. Official licensed product.
Features :- Main pocket holds Wii console
- Zippered paded inside pocket for Sensor bar
- Padded middle pocket holds AC adapter and controllers
- Front pocket holds games and additional controllers
- Comfortable carrying handle
- Convenient mesh side pockets
- Strong designer hardware
- Adjustable shoulder strap
Quality/Usability : The Nintendo Wii is the smallest console amongst the next-gen consoles (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360). With the Nintendo Wii still hard to find in stores (Yes, even after a little more than a year of being released in the US, its still hard to find on store shelves), I had to bring my Wii to relatives house so we can all enjoy the family fun. Isnt that Nintendo's intentions?
As the name of the product/review states, the messenger bag has a Legend of Zelda theme to it. The flap has an a stitched image of Zelda and underneath is Zelda's shield made of hard rubber. The messenger bag has three compartments and two elastic mesh side pockets.
The two elastic mesh pockets can hold your cables or the other small accessories such as extra Wiimotes.
The flap has two clips to keep the flap closed and underneath the flap are two velcro strips that attaches to the bag. Also under the flap but above the main compartment is a small mesh pouch. This mesh pouch is for the sensor bar. Unfortunately, if you have a wireless sensor bar, it wont fit as they usually tend to be bigger and thicker. This is actually the first carry case or that I know of that has its own pocket for the sensor bar.
The main compartment holds the Nintendo Wii console. The compartment holds the Wii securely in place and has a lot of padding to give that extra protection. Inside the main compartment, is another compartment. This compartment allows you to hold two Wiimotes and AC adapter. There are even three elastic bands to hold them in place.
The front pocket lets you hold Nunchuks, Wii games and any other controllers or accessories you may need to carry such as classic controller, GameCube controllers, etc.
Conclusion : Overall, the Legend of Zelda Wii Messenger Bag is a well constructed bag. Even with all the pockets and compartments filled, the bag isnt too big compared to some carry cases on the market. Most cases on the market can only hold the system, cables, power supply and 1-2 controllers. This doesnt even include the sensor bar. While the Zelda bag can carry everything and then some. The images on ConsoleShop can be a little misleading as what I received (see image at top or attached) is not what is pictured on the site even though the images on the site is on the package itself. The image on the site is slightly different and the size of the bag looks like a regular normal messenger bag when the bag I received is smaller and almost the size of the Wii. The mesh pockets arent brown. They are black. The price isnt attractive at a very pricey $54.95 for a carry case. But if I had a choice of the Legend of Zelda Wii Messenger Bag or any of the 3rd party carry bags on the market, I'll choose the Zelda Messenger Bag as it offers more protection and it can store more.

Xbox 360 System Back Pack XB3400
Manufacturer: ALS Industries
Site:
Price: $89.95
Overview : The System Back Pack bag is a official Xbox 360 licensed product. It can hold your Xbox 360, up to 4 controllers, the power pack, AV cable and the AC cord.
Features :- Holds Xbox 360™ Console, Up to 4 Controllers, Power Pack, AV Cables and Power Cord.
- Main Pocket Holds and protects Xbox 360™ Entertainment System with Bottom Section for Power Supply.
- Middle Pocket Holds up to 4 Controllers and Front Pocket for Games, Headset and Other Accessories.
- Convenient Mesh Side Pockets for Ethernet Cable and Component HD AV Cable.
- Comfortable Carrying Handle.
- Adjustable Padded Sraps.
- Fully Padded Bag for Maximum protection.
This product is manufactured under license from Microsoft Corporation.
Quality/Usability : We all know that the Xbox 360 isnt the lightest system nor the smallest. Since I'm the gamer in the family and pretty much the entertainer amongst the kids, I tend to bring my consoles to family gatherings to keep everyone entertained whether it be PSP, DS, Wii, PS3 and/or Xbox 360. Its not easy having to carry all those systems plus cables, controllers and games. Thats where the Xbox 360 System Back Pack XB3400 comes in play.
The XB3400 is a back pack so you can easily wear it and not feel uncomfortable while still leaving both your hands free to carry other things. The XB3400 has a flap with a clip at the end of it to keep it closed. When you flip open a flap, you are given three compartments and two elastic mesh pockets on the side.
The two elastic mesh pockets can hold your cables whether they are ethernet, AV, HDMI or the other half of the power adapter.
Lets start with the biggest compartment, the system area. At the very bottom, this is where you will place the brick they call the power supply. Near the bottom is a flap attached via velcro. This is actually a divider between the system and the power supply. When placing the system in, you may need to stick your hand in so that the system doesnt get stuck to the top of the velcro to prevent it from going down further.
The next big pocket accomodates up to four controllers. You can also use it to hold games, other accessories or mix and match.
The smaller compartment also allows you to hold more games or stuff you were unable to hold in the middle pocket.
Conclusion : Overall, the Xbox 360 System Back Pack XB3400 fits everything you would need and more. The bag has a nice thick backing but it would of been nice if the shoulder straps were a little thicker considering the weight of the bag will be all on your shoulder when worn. Downside? The price. $90 for a bag? Its an officially licensed product but I still dont know if this would justify a $90 purchase. This case can be bought from Amazon. Luckily, ConsoleShop offers a price guarantee where they will beat any online price by 5%.
