Jimi Multi-Media Memory Case
Manufacturer: Mr Smith
Site: Buy from Jimi
Price: $8.95
Overview : Jimi™ multi media case is compact, water resistant and shockproof, and you can attach it to a lanyard or keyring. Within it’s recyclable sanoprene liners it can hold two of any of the 13 most popular formats of digital media or memory cards.
Jimi™ multi media case’s outer shell is made from 100% recycled and recyclable polypropylene. Combined with the cushioning sanoprene lining this splash proof shell makes it ideal for storing your digital camera media during snow sports, cycling and other outdoor activities.
Or if you just want somewhere to stash your flash memory cards when you’re traveling or living a busy mobile life this’ll do the trick. If you’re a digital photographer, or media or memory card user and have made a New Years resolution to get more organized, the Jimi™ multi media case is a great first step.
Quality/Usability : With my new interest in professional photography, I went and bought digital SLR camera from a family relative. I still have a regular digital camera that I carry around as well. For both these cameras, I have about 1-2 memory sticks.
Jimi is made of durable plastic with sanoprene lining (rubber). You can attach the Jimi to your keyring, bag or string for easy portability. The Jimi is small enough to fit in your pants pocket and light weight that you wont notice it. Jimi seems to come in one color, outer black case with light blue sanoprene liner.
The sanoprene is removeable. The mold of the sanoprene allows you to hold one of each on one side but you can hold a combination of the following formats:- xD Card
- SM Card
- SD Card
- MMC Card
- MMC Micro
- MMC Mobile
- Mini SD w/Adapter
- 1" Harddrive
- MS Pro Duo
- Memory Stick
- Compact Flash
- Compact Flash II
- Micro SD w/Adapter
The media cards are held in place securely. If there were some slots that were not filled in, the media cards will not come out unless it was banged on hard.
Conclusion : Overall, the Jimi Multi-Media Memory Case is probably the best solution for carrying all your multi-media cards all in one place. Of course, that is if you have that many different media cards to carry around. What I did notice was that microSD w/adapter was mentioned as being able to be held in the Jimi Multi-Media Memory Case, although true, the adapter is actually a SD card. If you wanted to hold microSD card only, there is no designated spot for it. It will be moving around freely. Those who own a DS and PSP, may want to take a look at the Jimi Game Shell Case.

Jimi Game Shell Case
Manufacturer: Mr Smith
Site: Buy from Jimi
Price: $9.95
Overview : Jimi™ Game Shell is compact, water resistant and shockproof, and you can attach it to your backpack, lanyard or keyring. Within its recyclable sanoprene liners, each case securely holds two Nintendo DS games, two Wii (SD) cards, or two PSP (ProDuo game or music) cards.
Jimi™ Game Shell's translucent outer skin is made from 100% recycled and recyclable polypropylene. Combined with the cushioning sanoprene lining in planet purple, gunmetal grey, or fire red this splash proof shell makes it ideal for storing your DS and PSP game cards, music or camera memory cards, and it looks really sweet to boot.
Quality/Usability : There have been a couple of vacations where I carried my PSP and DS around with me. Each portable system in its own dedicated case but no place to carry my extra games or memory sticks.
Jimi may be your solution and even mine as well. Jimi is made of durable plastic with sanoprene lining (rubber). You can attach the Jimi to your keyring, bag or string for easy portability. The Jimi is small enough to fit in your pants pocket and light weight that you wont notice it. Jimi comes in three colors of sanoprene lining: Red, Grey or Purple. The plastic shell is all the same clear color.
The sanoprene is removeable. The mold of the sanoprene allows you to hold up to two Pro Duo memory sticks or two SD cards (one on each side) or one of each. Above the memory cards, you can hold two DS games. The memory sticks and DS games are held in place securely. Even if you only had one DS game and the other slot was open and was holding either a Pro Duo or SD, they wont come out unless it was banged on hard.
Conclusion : Overall, the Jimi Game Shell Case is a nice solution to holding your memory sticks and DS games at once and together. I'm not sure if it was my shipment only but it did not come with a keyring like the Jimi Multi-Media Memory Case as that came with a keyring. The price of the Game Shell Case is fairly reasonable as well.

Moxia USBCell Rechargeable Battery
Manufacturer: Moixa
Site: Buy from Moixa
Price: $17.00 (2 pack)
Overview : This NiMH AA cell can be used like a normal battery and can be recharged simply by plugging into a USB port.
With over 15 billion Alkaline batteries made and thrown away each year - wasting resources, C02 and creating toxic Landfill - USBCELL offers a eco-friendly alternative as can be re-used hundreds of times as no charge adaptor or cable is needed, saving you money, hassle and waste.
Features :- Rechargeable AA NiMH Battery 1.2v 1300mah
- 90%+ Charged after 5 Hours by powered USB
- Built in Intelligent Charger
- Charge by powered USB
- Also can be charged in approved NiMH Chargers
Quality/Usability : Majority of today's electronics such as digital cameras, portable devices such as MP3/CD players, remotes, flashlights, and controllers all use alkaline batteries.
No more need for disposable batteries. Yes, there are lots of rechargeable batteries on the market but in order to recharge them, you will need a charger. What happens if you dont have a charger on your? USBCell is similar that it is rechargeable but to recharge them, its different. The name of the product can give you a hint as to how it would recharge...USB. But you can also charge in any rechargeable battery charger as well
The design of the USBCell is unique. With USB ports on PC, laptops and even game consoles, it is fairly easy to find USB ports to recharge. To charge, you simply, pull of the green cover. The green cover is attached to the battery with an elastic band so you wont lose the cover by accident. Once the cover is off, a USB plug is explosed. Pull back on the cover and insert the USB plug into any USB port.
Once inserted into a USB port, a green LED light is lit up to inform you that it is charging. When the battery is fully charged, the LED will turn off.
Having charged the USBCell batteries for the recommended 5 hours, I was about to get a little more than 20 hours with the Wiimote before the battery died. Although a Xbox 360 controller is pictured with the USBCell, I was unable to fit both batteries into the Xbox 360 wireless controller but I was able to fit one into the plastic holder. Even with the one battery, it felt a little snug.
Conclusion : Overall, the Moixa USBCell Rechargeable Battery are probably the most unique product we have reviewed. There are some problems that I see. If you have a USB port that is recessed or further in to your device, the USBCell may not reach. Another problem is the mAh. Although 1300mAh is perfect for devices that doesnt draw a lot of power but when used with devices such as digital cameras, people prefer 2000mAh or higher for high powered devices. But these would come in handy as a temporary backup solution. Other sizes are are planned to be released but no further information has been mentioned.
Price of the USBCell is a bit pricey. For maybe double the price or less (depending if there is a deal), you can probably get a charger, four batteries and a higher mAh battery such as 2500mAh.

With Super Mario Galaxy being sent to retail stores to be demoed, some souls have taken the game home and leaked the full version of the game before its officially released. Supposedly, Super Mario Galaxy has a new copy protection that prevents the game from working on modchipped Wii's.
D2CKey is the first modchip to be able to play Super Mario Galaxy. Other modchip makers such as Team Cyclops (CycloWiz) and Team WiiKey are looking into a fix. Actually, Team Cyclops has already released a 3.6BETA that works with Super Mario Galaxy. Team WiiKey has found a fix but will need to recode as there were changes made. No word from other makers and open source's such as WiiFree, YAOSM.
We here at DCEmu do not condone piracy. If you want to play the game or any game for that matter, go out and support the developers, publishers and the industry by purchasing the actual game from your retailer.
*UPDATE*
The Wiikey Team has released a beta version of their firmware which addresses the Error 001 issue in the Super Mario Galaxy Nintendo Wii game. They are now the third company to release a fix for their line of Nintendo Wii modchips.
We are pleased to announce that BETA HOTFIX v1.9g of the Wiikey firmware is now available to download. Please note that this is a BETA HOTFIX released as an immediate response to feedback from users regarding SMG. It comes with absolutely no warranty or guarantees. Use it at your own risk! Feedback is welcome, but please send your message one time only. We can't reply to every message we get, but we do read all of them.

VDIGI VD-W2 Wii VGA Cable
Manufacturer: VDIGI
Site: Buy from VDIGI
Price: $39.90
Overview : Connect your Wii units to a CRT or LCD monitor in the form of a VGA cable. The cable is compatible with Wii units in all regions and is capable of producing high quality VGA output.
Features :- Easy to setup and use
- Compatible with Japan, U.S. and UK version console Wii, backward compatible with Gamecube 480p supported games
- Provide high quality VGA output
- Clear crystal image quality
- No external power needed
- Support wide range of CRT/LCD monitors
Quality/Usability : Not everyone owns a HDTV (yet) or have a spare TV to use while the family is using the TV to watch their favorite show. But everyone does have a computer monitor whether it be a CRT or LCD or probably spares. If not, prices are fairly cheap for those looking to use CRT/LCD monitors for gaming. The quality of the cable is very durable with the cable being 6.5ft (2M), with maximum output resolution 640x480 @ 60fps with output signals of RGBHV and RGBs. The cable has the AV out plug that plugs into the Wii, VGA plug that connects to monitor and RCA plugs (red and white for audio right and left and green component cable).
To set your Wii to 480p, there are two ways. If you have component cable hooked up to your Wii already, then you're set. If not, you'll need to connect the AV out plug to the back of the Wii. Once connected, insert your green component into the the TV. Although this is for component, you can plug into the video plug on standard TVs. Turn on the Wii and a blue power indicator will light up on the VD-W2 but the display will be in black and white. From here, change the settings on the Wii (Wii icon > Wii settings > Screen > TV Resolution > select EDTV or HDTV > Confirm). If you're using a standard TV, your screen will go blank as it can not support HDTV signal.
You can either leave the console on or off but you can turn it off to be safe. Disconnect the cables that is connected to the TV and plug the VGA connector to your monitor. Once connected and Wii turned back on, the Wii dashboard will be displayed. For audio, connect the RCA plugs (audio L/R) to your audio equipment. If you dont, you can connect the the included 3.5mm headphone jack converter and connect to any PC speakers for audio.
On the back of the VGA connector are small dip switches. I didnt have to touch it, but I assume if you are having problems with your display you would toggle with the switches.
MODE/DIP / RGBS (Comp) / RGBHV (Default) / RGBHV (1) / RGBHV (2)

3______________OFF__________OFF_________ON_______O FF
4______________OFF__________OFF_________OFF______O N
All the games I tried whether it be Wii or GameCube games, worked perfectly and looked great with bright vivid colors. I did notice that Zelda: Twilight Princess did show scanlines but I assume it was the game as some other Nintendo developed games such as Mario Party 8 did the same thing but some other games developed by other companies didnt.
Conclusion : Overall, the VDigi VD-W2 Wii VGA Cable worked as it should. The colors were bright and vivid and pictures being clear and crisp. The ability to change the settings on the Wii without the use of a HDTV comes in very handy. The manual was photocopied and black and white but so as long it showed us how to connect and set things up, who cares? The scanlines seems to be normal as it is game related to only Nintendo developed games.

A most anticipated game from the creator of undying, a freak the **** outta-you horror shooter, Clive Barker. People have been really hoping that this title is more then a POS outcast with high production values. What did they get?.....Silver. Half gold, half silver, all fun as the place that the monsters you battle are from. Cookie to the one who gets that joke.
The story begins as you, Capt. Devin Ross, wakes up to a call, apparently to get together with the rest of the Jericho squad for a mission tougher then any they've ever seen before. You arrive at the ancient city of Al-Khali, which has revealed itself, that being a very ominous sign. Through the game, you, Cpt. Ross, is killed in action by Arnold Lech...leach.... whatever his name is, the evil guy. Dying in the hands of your teammates, you somehow manage to transfer your life force into fellow teammate Frank Delgado. In the game you can transfer your "soul" between your six teamates, utilizing their unique talents and weapons. You soon find yourself trying to find a creation-gone-wrong called the Firstborn. You'll fight Crusaders, demons, cut in half ghosts of children, and pretty much anything else you can think of freaky as he**.
This game is seriously fun, whether be you an action fan or a horror fan. Although this game can hardly be called horror, it has some things simply freaky. Not horrifying, but freaky. The enemies are the creepiest things in Jericho by far. In fact, I've never seen another game with the creatures as twisted or horrific as this. if you don't think so, just wait till you fight the ghosts of the children crusaders. The horrific creatures also translate into the story, as every detail of it is splashed with horrific ideas of impalings, demonic nazis, floors covered in organs, flesh and blood. Pretty much any hellish texture, creature or idea you can think of, so did they.
However, don't think for a minute that this means its extremely scary or far too freaky for you action fans, and not so much horror (if your a horror fan, trust me, this game will do it great for you too.) Now the reason this isn't the scariest game on earth is because the atmosphere just isn't scary. Some parts are a little creepy, others disturbing, but just not horrifying. there are a couple reasons for this. When you constantly have 6 teammates with you, and they are always cracking jokes or calling a certain sniper a lesbian, its really hard to get scared. Another scare less aspect is the music. The music is sometimes pretty creepy, but when it comes to the massive battles in Jericho, light rock plays rather then haunting tunes.
You can switch between 6 different characters at the blink of an eye during the game. Each character has his or her own special weapons and abilities. Before you say anything, no there are no weapons to pick up or swap out. Trust me, there is absolutely no need whatsoever for extra weapons. Each characters has a wide variety of weapons and powers to take out the enemies. From wielding a katana to slowing down time, to throwing out blood circles to trap enemies, this game truly has inspired weaponry from every angle you can look at. The jokes that keep throwing out help to bring up the spirit while getting attacked by hordes and hordes of monsters. The levels are a fairly simple design, but if you didn't know what it was, you probably would see a very diverse environment of levels. Some are slightly more bland, and others are extremely detailed. The levels are fun, nonetheless. A personal favorite aspect is how the screen moves depending on the actions you take. This doesn't sound like much at all, but it really gives you a better feel for the characters, more life-like. Every cut-scene you'll find, you will always be playing it in 1st person, never seeing it from a 3rd person point of view.
Graphics are fairly splendid. They aren't Gears of War or Bioshock (Nothing really is) but they are very nice, especially on HD. the blood splattered walls, the nailed to walls bodies and the organs on the floor, they all looks great. The character models are really detailed, with blood dripping from they're eyes and even missing teeth, the character models range from fair to amazing.
Long story short, If you fit the bill of an action fan, horror fan, or FPS fan, missing this game would be a crime. It isn't terrifying, but it is a game that makes the adrenaline rush from time to time, and can even creep you out quite a bit if you've got the right mood set...
Final score: I can't understand a lower score then this, unless I only have 3 hours left. (Which will greatly lower the replay value, not yet added into the score.) I've played about 6 hours so far, and I'm loving every second of it. For those of you wondering about replay, I don't think it has multiplayer, but I've "unlocked" characters, during the game. I don't yet know what this means, but I'm willing to bet its gonna be good
EDIT: Fancy that, I DID only have 3 hours left...this game has the replay value of a dead cat. Score revision to for lack of anything to do afterward.
heh heh, not to MINIview....

MMR PSP UMD Replacement Case
Manufacturer: Multimedia Recovery
Site: Buy from Multimedia Recovery
Price: $3.99 each / $11.99 (3-pack)
Overview : Finally a solution to your broken UMD games & movies. This nearly indestructible UMD repair shell is a replacement case carriage for those flimsy UMD shells that the game is originally contained in. Stop throwing out your games & start playing & watching all your PSP UMDs again!
Features :- Works as a replacement for ALL UMD Media - Game or Movie
- Comes in clear colors
- Reusable casing to change discs
Quality/Usability : I know everyone had at least one horribly scratched up UMD disc or a UMD disc that has cracked. With the item being damaged, it either wont play or you had to go out and buy a new game/movie. Now, there is a solution that Sony failed to provide whether it be replacement cases or better quality product.
Multimedia Recovery has filled that void by releasing a PSP UMD Replacement Case. The size is replacement case is exactly the same size of that of the original UMD case. There are some slight differences. The replacement case consists of two plastic pieces (front and back) while the original consists of multiple pieces. The replacement case snaps on and uses a screw to hold the cases together tightly and the replacement case comes in multiple colors.
To install, simply remove the disc from the original case. Place the disc on to the bottom replacement case and then place the top replacement case on top to encase the disc. All you have to do now is press all around the replacement case to ensure that it is in place and complete the process by screwing in the small screws. You can use a screwdriver similar to the ones used for glasses to tighten the screws.
Multimedia Recovery offers two types of cases; screw and snap-on. We only received the screw version so we are unable to give a review on the snap-on version. Some colors they currently offer are clear blue and crystal clear New colors will be available soon such as purple, red, yellow, multi-color, metal flake, pink and black.
Conclusion : Overall, the Multimedia Recovery PSP UMD Replacement Case is probably the only replacement UMD case on the market right now. The replacement case is durable and will not fall or break apart unlike the original case. The price is very cheap at $3.99 including free shipping within US, $4.99 including free shipping Internationally and $11.99 for a 3-pack. Its definitely better than spending $30 on a new game or movie. You can also swap disc with the replacement case but be sure to handle and place the UMD disc carefully as they are not well coated to begin with.
Here is a video by David from Multimedia Recovery:
*UPDATE*
SNAP-ON REVIEW VERSION
Quality/Usability : Multimedia Recovery was nice enough to send us the snap-on version of the PSP UMD Replacement Case. The snap-on version is identical to the screw version. Only difference, its snap-on and does not require a screw.
Game discs are held securely in place. The replacement case has 7 pegs all around the case that holds the top and bottom casing together. Only problem with these pegs is that they bend easily as they are plastic, small and thin. So if you're closing up the case and just so happen to close it wrong, you may end up bending the pegs. This can be easily fixed but using thin pliers or something to shift it back in place. By doing this, it will weaken the plastic. Even if you were to break it off or if it breaks off on its own, the replacement case is still held in place tightly.
Conclusion : Overall, the snap-on PSP UMD Replacement Case works just like the screw version. Just remember to be careful when closing up the replacement case so you dont bend one of the pegs out of place.
