Zoozen Disc Protector 360
Manufacturer: Zoozen
Site: Buy from Divineo US / Buy from Divineo China
Price: $9.99
Overview : One of the biggest flaw of the Xbox 360 (among the many qualities that makes it an amazing videogame machine) is the problem of damaged/scratched CD/DVD discs, mostly when the console is moved while reading a disc.
Zoozen came up with a simple, easy to install solution to once for all fix this problem!
The Protector 360 is easy to install, only requires a minute to do so, and with its low price is a great deal to protect your expensive games!
And the best thing with this product is that it DOES NOT VOID your xbox360 warranty, since you dont have to open the console.
Quality/Usability : Some of you Xbox 360 owners are afraid of your disc being scratched or are already scratched by the DVD-ROM. This can be caused by minor shaking to the system, moving the system while a disc is loaded inside the system or just a faulty DVD-ROM.
Zoozen has come up with a solution to the scratching problems. They have developed a product called Disc Protector 360. The product is very small and it will help your DVD's live longer.
With this product installed, not only does it NOT require you open your Xbox 360 nor does it void your warranty but now you can place your console in any position without harming your DVDs.
The Disc Protector 360 includes 3 rubber-like pads. These pads are placed on the inner side of the DVD drive. Installation takes a mere 2 mins regardless of experience. All you do is place the 3 pads onto the "mount" On this mount is a piece of cardboard and a plastic circle tube with a straw coming out at one end. On this cardboard, there are three "ditches". In these ditches is where you will place the three pads. Once you have placed the pads, you remove the sticker on the pads to expose the adhesive side of the pads.
Insert the "mount" onto the DVD tray and close it. Once the DVD tray is closed, you'll have to blow on the end with the straw to inflate the tube. What this will do is lift the mount and the pads will stick onto your drive. Once these pads are in place, it will prevent your discs from scratching.
Conclusion : Overall, the Zoozen Disc Protector 360 is a unique product and cheap at the same time. Those having problems with discs being scratched may want to take a look at this product to help solve the situation.

Nyko Intercooler 360
Manufacturer: Nyko
Site: Buy from Nyko / Buy from ConsoleSource
Price: $19.99
Overview : Reduce the internal operating temperature of the 360 while prolonging the consoles lifespan. The Intercooler 360 is a snap on cooling attachment that easily connects to the Xbox 360 to significantly reduce the internal heat of the console. The Intercooler 360 provides increased air flow throughout the 360 which allows the internal circuitry to perform at cooler temperatures and last longer. No internal modification of the Xbox 360 is required. A pass through power connection utilizes the existing Xbox 360 power supply negating the need for an extra AC adaptor. The unit also powers on and off automatically with the 360 and the Intercoolers small size will fit in tight spaces like entertainment centers with your 360 displayed in either horizontal or vertical format.
Features :- Increase air flow and reduces heat throughout the 360 providing extended life and reliability
- Powered by the Xbox 360 console, no extra AC adaptor needed
- Auto or manual power on and off
- Snap on installation means no tools or other modifications are required
- Can be used with the Xbox 360 in vertical or horizontal position
Quality/Usability : The Nyko Intercooler 360 is set out to keep your Xbox 360 cool from overheating and prolong the life of your consoles life. Does it? Read and see what we have to say about it.
The Intercooler 360 has three extra cooling fans that is housed in a plastic housing that matches the 360's color. The Intercooler is snapped onto the back of the Xbox 360's own internal fan to circulate air inside the Xbox 360 which lowers the temperature inside the console. The Intercooler 360 is snapped into the Xbox 360 by using plastic clips that go into the ventilation holes.
The Intercooler 360 has a pass-thru which allows you to plug your power cord into the Intercooler like you would on the console. The Intercooler itself adds about 2 inches to the depth of the Xbox 360 and turns ON and OFF when the console starts and shuts down. Nyko also gave the ability the user the ability to manually turn off the Intercooler with a built-in switch.
With three times the fan power, the Intercooler significantly pushes through more air into the Xbox 360. Simply by placing your hands over the fans, you can feel the air being blown in to the Xbox 360. NYKO claims that there is a ~10 degree difference between the internal temperature with the Intercooler in place versus just the internal fan from the consoles fan. I dont have the ability or the utility to confirm this but we'll just have to take Nyko's word for it.
With three additional cooling fans, you wont notice much noise as the console itself is pretty noisy as it is. You'll be so focused on your game, you wont notice any noise.
There have been some information on the web regarding the Intercooler 360. Some users have stated that the Intercooler has damaged their system or left burn marks on the back of the Xbox 360. Rest assured, there has been no problems. I'm not sure if Nyko has fixed this problem or if it was just a isolated problem and was a defective product for those certain users. But my Xbox 360 has not crapped out on me nor left any burn marks on my system.
Conclusion : Overall, the Nyko Intercooler 360 is a must own for those who have their console in a tight or want to prolong the life of their console. With a reasonable price to boot, its a great investment rather than having to spend another $400 on a new console or having to deal with the hassle of Microsoft's repair center.

Nyko GameFace 360
Manufacturer: Nyko
Site: Buy from Nyko
Price: $20-28
Overview : Get your Game Face on! Personalize your Xbox 360 with the GameFace customizable faceplate and skin kit. This two piece faceplate houses personalized templates placed between a high-grade clear polycarbonate front plate and a stylized base plate. Download the easy to use design software at www.nyko.com and instantly create faceplates using your favorite game characters, images, photos, patterns and more. Print the final creations on the 15 blank templates using any home printer or try one of the 6 pre-printed designs also included in the kit. The templates fit snugly between the faceplate pieces and snap into place on the front of the Xbox 360. With the GameFace 360, you get everything you need to make up to 16 custom faceplates right away all from the comfort of home.
Features :- Personalize your Xbox 360 with your favorite game characters, bands, photos, drawings and designs
- Includes base plate and clear front plate, 15 blank templates and 6 pre-printed designs
- Includes easy-to-use Game Face software. Create and print your own designs
- High quality construction, designed for easy installation and removal
- Software downloadable here. Requirements: PC or Mac computer, internet connection, home printer
Minimum System Requirements :- PC with Windows XP/2000 or Macintosh with OS 10.2 or higher
- Dial up/broadband internet connection and compatible browser
- Home Printer (with 8 1/2" x 14" compatible tray)
Quality/Usability : One of the nice unique features of the Xbox 360 was the ability to customize your console faceplate. With that, Nyko released the GameFace 360 which retails for $20, to help those with a sense of creativity and those who want a unique system that is different from the rest.
The Nyko GameFace 360 consists of a silver back plate and a clear front plate. In between the two plates, you place one of six preprinted paper templates or a custom design printed on one of the 15 included blank sheets. Each paper template has punch-out holes for the Xbox 360's disc tray, memory card and all face ports.
Although the included preprinted templates are nice, they arent the best looking things. If you're looking to pick up the GameFace 360, you're not looking to get it for its preprinted templates but to customize it with your own style and image.
In order to print your own design to be used with the GameFace you must download the GameFace software from Nyko's Web site. The software is compatible with Windows PCs and Macs. The software itself is fairly simple. Just download the program, extract it and start the application. Once the program has launched, a blank document in a shape of a faceplate is shown with a few editing options for you to choose from. The software allows you to import JPEG, GIF, Bitmap or TIFF files. Once you have loaded an image, you have the ability to rotate the image, scale the image, increase or decrease the contrast and brightness, inverting colors, adding grayscale and blurring images. The application is like a mini-Photoshop.
Speaking of Photoshop, if you happen to have the program on your computer, Nyko offers a downloadable PSD template for you to use for you more advanced Photoshop users.
Printing the templates are easy. Removing the template off the template can take a little patience as they can tear easily. Once you have removed the template, placing the paper template on the clear faceplate may be difficult as it doesnt line up with perfectly and may result in the paper being creased. Removing dual faceplate/sheet combos is a little difficult as well since you wont be able to remove all three at the same time. Be sure to take your time as you only have a limited amount of templates (15) to play with.
Conclusion : Overall, the Nyko GameFace 360 is a great product for those who would like to give their Xbox 360 a unique and stylish look. Nyko offers a great range of flexibility when it comes to customizing the faceplate by either using their software or using Photoshop. Although you are limited to 15 blank templates, Nyko will be releasing replacement templates for those who have run out of the allotted 15.

Griffin RoadDock PSP
Manufacturer: Griffin Technology
Site: Buy from Griffin
Price: $29.99
Overview : RoadDock is an ultra-versatile mounting system that allows hands-free viewing of your PSP.
RoadDock features a 2-inch-wide adjustable nylon strap that securely fastens your PSP to any vehicle headrest, airplane seatback, etc. RoadDock's sturdy cradle snaps onto your PSP and provides built-in tilt and 360º rotation.
All this adjustability translates into comfortable viewing angles for passengers of all sizes. Just lock PSP into RoadDock's cradle, snap RoadDock around any headrest, and sit back to enjoy your movies and tunes. Keeping the kids (big and small) entertained in the back seat just got easier by an order of magnitude.
Quality/Usability : The Griffin RoadDock mounting strap simply clips onto your PSP and straps onto just about any car headrest even on the visor. The PSP bracket that holds the PSP is made of durable plastic and rotates 360 degrees and also tilts so you can get a better viewing angle of the PSP.
Once the PSP was placed onto the RoadDock and the RoadDock strapped onto a car headrest, it was time to test it out. I tested the RoadDock on three types of headset. You have the headrest that is attached to the seat itself, then you have the headrest that moves up and down and another headrest that moves up and down but has a hole in the middle (racing type). With the test on all three headrest, the RoadDock did not move at all. I did not have to adjust the strap or have to tilt the PSP. Mind you, this was tested in New York City and the roads are pretty horrendous.
Griffin Technology was also nice enough to send their iTrip FM Transmitter PSP as well. Luckily, the RoadDock was able to grip onto the PSP with the iTrip FM transmitter attached. How? On the iTrip, there is a small groove on the bottom of the iTrip that the RoadDock can slip into. This is great to have sound transmitted through your car speakers instead of using headphones.
Conclusion : Overall, the Griffin RoadDock PSP is a great product to keep your young ones entertained during those long roadtrips to grandmas. It can even be an alternative to those integrated built-in LCD monitors in the headrest. For the price of $29.99, it does seem a bit pricey for just an accessory.

Wii Sports
Publisher: Nintendo
Developer: Nintendo
Genre: Sports
Players: 1-4, depending on game
Get From: Goozex US/CAN / Goozex EU
Overview : This is what video games should be: fun for everyone. Wii Sports offers five distinct sports experiences, each using the Wii Remote controller to provide a natural, intuitive and realistic feel. To play a Wii Sports game, all you need to do is pick up a controller and get ready for the pitch, serve or that right hook. If you've played any of these sports before, you're ready for fun!
Features :- Play Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Bowling and Boxing in the comfort of one's living room. No ball boys scurrying about, no oil from the alleys to get players dirty and no rain to keep anyone from a day at the court, park or course. Use the Wii Remote controller to mimic the actions of swinging a racket, bat or club, roll a ball down an alley or bring the left jab.
- Players can use their own Mii caricatures in the game and play them against their friends' Miis for a more personalized experience. As players improve, their Miis' skill levels will increase, so that they can see exactly how much better they've become.
- People of all skill levels can pick up and play any of the games in the unprecedented Wii Sports package, making this truly a title for everyone!
Gameplay : Nintendo decided to include a game with every Nintendo Wii console purchased. This is a great way to show off the Wiis new intuitive control scheme. When every swing and motion of the Wii remote, you perform certain motions. With the ease of a swinging a bat or tennis raquet motion will perform a swing. The motion of a golf swing, throwing a bowling ball or punching will perform each respective motion.
There is pratically no learning curve to Wii Sports. You simply pick up the Wii remote and just start swinging away. A child and elderly can enjoy the game easily.
- Tennis (1-4 players): Players grab the Wii Remote like a racket and swing – the game registers forehands, backhands, volleys, lobs, slices, spin and power depending on how fast the user swings and at what angle. Don't worry about moving around the court to get to the ball – the game automatically moves players into position.
- Baseball (1-2 players): Players grip the Wii Remote like a bat and swat fastballs out of the park, or fire a fastball over the plate with a flick of their wrist. Timing and bat speed will make all the difference between going yard and whiffing, so keep an eye on the ball and swing for the fences. In the two-player game, one player pitches and the other bats – all fielding and running is automatic, so that players can focus on the action.
- Golf (1-4 players): Step up to the tee, hold the Wii Remote like a golf club and swing naturally to smack the ball onto the green. The harder players swing the club, the farther the ball will fly. Be careful, though – if players swing too hard, their ball will fly out of control, so they should be sure to take some practice swings before going for the pin. After reaching the green, line up putts carefully, practice the stroke and try to hole out.
- Bowling (1-4 players): Players raise the Wii Remote in their hand just like a bowling ball, and then swing their arms to roll the ball. The speed of the swing and the angle at which they release the ball affects the ball's spin, so it will take some practice to master control over the ball and knock down the pins.
- Boxing (1-2 players): Using the Nunchuk™ controller as one glove and the Wii Remote as the other, players dodge, weave and punch their opponents. Players hold their hands high to guard their faces or low to block their torsos. They punch high to hit their opponents' faces or low to get under their guard for a body blow. Swing both arms left or right to sidestep oncoming blows and move into position for a devastating knockout.
There is also a Training mode as well as a Fitness mode. In Training mode you complete certain tasks and try to earn medals and move onto the next level. Fitness mode is just that. Getting in shape. Just playing regular boxing can help you get in shape but if you would like to keep track of your fitness, Fitness mode is the way to go.
Graphics : The graphics are not mind blowing as you would find on the PlayStation3 or Xbox360 but nice, unique and simple. Purpose is to show off how the Wii works. Each characted featured in Wii Sports are known as Mii. With the Nintendo Wii, you can create yourself and play as yourself or make other celebrities and play as them.
Sound : Nothing fancy. The music is just generic music being played over and over. You'll have the occassional fans in the background cheering. I must say though, the music goes great with the game and does not get annoying where you have to turn down volume.
Replay Value : Wii Sports is a great game for get-togethers and to show off the potential of the Wii. Some games have great replay value such as Tennis, Bowling, Boxing. Golf and Baseball on the other hand is fun for only a certain amount of time.
Conclusion : Overall, Wii Sports is a great way to show off the Wii's control scheme. Children of all ages and even adults will have no problem enjoying Wii Sports. The learning curve is pratically none is a pick up and play type of game. Would of been nice if there was more games too choose from. Hopefully, there is a Wii Sports 2 in the works.
Score: Great

Wii Sports Pack Extensions
Manufacturer: PEGA
Site: Buy from Renchi
Price: $24.50
Overview : Do you have the feeling the Wii-mote is a tad short for Wii Golf? or don't have the same swing feel as a tennis racquet? or don't get the same momentum you would have thought you get during the Wii Baseball game? Fear no more with this little set of extensions for your Wiimote should improve your Wii sports experience. It's still far from a Prince or a Callaway, but you have to start somewhere.
Quality/Usability : When the Wii launched, there were pictures of attachments for Wii Sports on the web and you thought to yourself "is this for real?" or "I am getting this!". Me? I'm the latter.
With the Wii Sports Pack Extensions, it adds a whole new level to sillyness. You think the concept of the Wii remote where you move around to control is silly? Just wait until you slap these extensions on. The sports pack comes with one holder for the Wii remote controller and three extensions; tennis, golf and baseball. The attachments are made of plastic.
When I first saw images I was saying to myself, how will these attachments stay on without flying off. Well its simple. The attachments slide into the holder. Although they fit pretty snug, to add extra precaution, there is a switch type tab that you slide to lock and to secure it in place.
The holder itself doesnt add much thickness to the remote itself. Not too mention, it has an opening for the "B" button, wrist strap and even has grooves for grip. Holding the holder is comfortable. Even with the attachments on, it still feels light in the hands.
Does it improve your gameplay? I cant say for sure but I did do better in golf and baseball. With tennis, I couldnt tell but it just felt like I was holding a real racket.
Conclusion : Overall, the Wii Sports Pack is a great gimmick that works great with the new innovative control scheme of the Nintendo Wii! The sports pack adds a new uniqueness to gameplay and gives somewhat of a realistic feel..but not really. Now you dont have to feel like you're swinging at air and just make sure that you're not too close to anyone or any objects. Would of been sweet if they incorporated a boxing glove type attachment. Dont know how bowling would work out though. Not to mention, if you use a skin with your Wii controller, you'll have to remove it inorder for it to fit inside the holder.

Wii Component Cable
Manufacturer: Dragonplus
Site: Buy from Brando
Price: $7.00
Overview : Component Video connection from PS3 to TV with component input
Features :- Component-Video Connection from Playstation 3 to TV with component input
- Offers high quality signal
- Support 1080i/720p HDTV System
- Length: 1.8 Meters
Quality/Usability : Like any home consoles, they all come with composite cables. No one likes composite cables especially if you have a high-definition TV set. Eventually, as all home owners buy new TVs, future home consoles will have component cable included as everyone will/should have HDTV already.
With the price you paid for the PS3 whether its the 20GB or 60GB, you want your moneys worth (besides software support). Dragonplus has entered the market with their first PS3/PS2 Component/AV Cable. The cable not only works on your PS3 but your PS2 as well. The cable is compatible with 1080i/720p HDTVs.
The cable shows picture clarity and brighter colors for the PS3. better than the composite cables. Edges are not as blurred and the edges are more defined. The colors with the component cable are slightly brighter than they are with composite.
With the PS2 connected, there wasnt much improvement over the Official cables that came with the system. There might have been a slightly better picture clarity and brighter colors but I couldnt tell with the naked eye.
Conclusion : Overall, the PS3 Component Cable is a nice alternative for the PS2 but for the PS3, its an improvement over the composite cables. You'll definitely notice a difference in color and texture. This is a nice temporary solution until Sony comes out with one or a permanent one. Its up to you. For the price tag of $7, you cant go wrong. Although there is the HDMI option (if your TV supports it).

Wii Component Cable
Manufacturer: Unknown
Site: Buy from Brando
Price: $14.00
Overview : Component Video connection from Wii to TV with component input
Features :- Get the high-quality image your wii is capable of putting out
- Allows for a more improved picture than fro composite or S-video cables
- Provides high-definition video output, giving you incredibie graphics and images
- Length: 1.8m
- This is not an official Nintendo Product
Quality/Usability : With Nintendo own Official component cables being sold out and hard to find, 3rd party manufacturers are releasing their own.
Those who have high-definition TV sets must and I mean MUST get component cables for all their home consoles. If you have a high-def TV and still using composite cables, why even own a high-def TV in the first place?!
Component cables make a huge difference when it comes to graphics, details and color. The quality of these component cables are great. They're definitely better than composite cables that came with the Nintendo Wii console. Unfortunatley, since I couldnt get my hands on Nintendo's component cable, I can't compare.
What I did notice was that with these cables improved the quality of images just slightly. There were less jaggies and the colors were not as dark. The colors were more richer and vibrant. With the composite cables, images were blurry.
Basically the biggest difference you will notice when playing with the component cable is this difference in texture quality and clarity. Component cables really does make a difference.
As you look close to pictures, you'll notice that textures have a better clarity, colors are more defined and vibrant.
Conclusion : Overall, the Wii Component Cable is a worthy purchase. You'll definitely notice a difference in color and texture but not much. There may be other cables on the market that may improve the quality and color even better. This does make a nice spare to have at a different location is you like to move around with the Wii.

- Quick Start Guide
Quality/Usability : I have a Sony MSAC-US20 Memory Stick Reader/Writer, SanDisk MobileMate SD+ and various USB cables that connects to my devices inorder for me to transfer data as well as adapters. Thats a lot of stuff on my computer table. With Brando's 55 in 1 Card Reader/Writer, it removes all those and puts them all into one!
Whats great about the 55 in 1 is that not only does it eliminate all those devices, adapters and cables but its works with any Windows and MAC operating systems. Not to mention, NO drivers needed (except for older OS)! The reader/writer is powered by your USB port with no additional power supply and uses USB2.0. It is also backwards compatible with USB1.0/1.1. When the reader is plugged in, I noticed that under MY COMPUTERS, there were three REMOVABLE DRIVES. When you insert a storage card, a green LED is lit up to let you know it is in use.
I tried various cards from a 4GB Hitachi MicroDrive, to a 256MB SD card, to a 1GB Memory Stick/Pro Duo cards and even the new smaller micro cards, microSD and Sony's M2. All work without any problems and all showed up perfectly and without any adapters! I no longer have to mess with cables or adapters in order to transfer data.
Normally, I connect my digital camera to my computer via USB cable. I tried my 4GB Hitachi MicroDrive with the card reader. The 55 in 1 had no problem reading it. Transferring pictures was just as easy and fast. It only took less than a minute to transfer my pictures to my computer. Mind you, these pictures were taken at 10.1MP and the files size are huge.
So I decided to try my 1GB that I use for my Nintendo Wii. Transferring VGA quality images were fast as well. It didnt take long before it was finished. Usually I would use the MobileMate SD+ adapter to transfer files. Transferring files to the Memory Stick and Pro Duo were the same. With the Pro Duo cards, I no longer had to use the adapter in order for me to transfer data. I just slipped it in and the reader had no problem recognizing the card.
My next test was my microSD and M2 that I used for my cellphones. The two newest memory cards to hit the market for the latest devices. I transferred not only pictures but also music. Transferring data was flawless and no adapter was needed at all unlike my other readers.
No matter what sized storage card I threw at the 55 in 1, it had no problem recognizing the card. You must say to yourself, there are other card readers out there that does the same. Yes, you're right BUT they are usually limited to how big in size it will read your card. My Toshiba laptop has a card reader built in. Reading small sized memory cards to 2GB memory cards were not a problem. But when I inserted my 4GB Pro Duo, it didnt read it at all.
Before getting the 55 in 1, I had contacted companies regarding the limitations of how big the storage card it will read and all said 1GB to 2GB at most. That would do me no good since I have 4GB storage cards.
Conclusion : Overall, the Brando 55 in 1 Card Reader/Writer is the best thing out there. Not only is it compatible with the latest operating systems without the need for drivers, it accepts 55 different cards. It eliminates the use of USB cables for your devices and adapters. This is the best investment there is if you use different storage cards for your devices. My only complaint is that to me, the USB cord that is included measures 24 inches (2 feet) and is a little short for me. To others, its probably more than enough. 3-4 feet USB cable would of probably been enough for any normal user. This permanently replaced all my card readers and USB cords.
