PSP 4800mAh Emergency Charger
Manufacturer: PEGA
Site : Buy from Brando
Price: $22.00
Overview : This Emergency Charger contains a 4800mah lithium battery. It connects with your PSP console externally and providing more than double battery life.
Features :- Store energy in the lithium battery with the PSP AC adaptor and then supply the power to the PSP game console at any time
- ON/OFF switch
- LED indicator
- 4800mAh lithium battery
- Size : 75.3 x 80.2 x 17.8 mm
- Weight : 117gm
Quality/Usability : You would charge this like you would with your PSP. You can plug your PSP AC adapter to charge the battery pack or use one of those USB power cables. On average, it takes about 1-2 hours to charge the battery pack completely. When charging, the LED will be red. When its done charging, the LED will be green.
Just like my review for the Large Capacity External Battery Pack w/Cliphook, this battery pack features and ON/OFF switch. When in use, slide the switch to ON to power the PSP. When not in use, slide the switch to OFF to conserve battery power.
For maximum portability, this comes with a plastic belt pouch that clips onto your belt.
Conclusion : This is probably the largest capacity battery pack I have reviewed. This is 4800mAh of power! Although it is a little big in size, it does come with a plastic belt pouch to clip onto your belt to carry around. If this plastic belt pouch is like the ones used for cellphones, these wouldnt last too long on a normal daily use.

PSP 3600mAh Battery Pack
Manufacturer: Dragonplus
Site : Buy from Brando
Price: $20.00
Overview : This battery pack provides 1800mAh of extra power for your PSP console, double the battery life and extend your play time.
Features :- Extended to 3600mAh after installing the original battery
- Extend your play time
- Inner lithium battery
- 1800mAh, 3.7V
- Size : 72.8 x 47.8 x 31.3 mm
- Weight : 59gm
Quality/Usability : This isnt your normal external battery pack where you charge and than plug into your PSP. This one is actually like an attachment or an adapter (see pictures). Installation setup is easy and is just like you would place the PSP battery into the PSP..just that there is an extra attachment.
Installation :- Open PSP battery cover
- Take out PSP battery
- Place PSP battery into battery pack
- Place PSP battery cover onto battery pack
- Place PSP battery pack into PSP system
- Complete
Unlike the other battery packs, there is no charging. You dont plug this into any adapters and there is no ON/OFF switch to conserve battery. Just simply place this inside the PSP's battery port and place the PSP battery into this battery pack and thats it.
To remove the battery pack, there is a button that you press on top. Removing the battery itself is a little hard. I had to use a credit card to get pop it out. Other than that..the battery and battery pack fit snuggly in its place.
The packaging of the battery claims you get up to 12 hours. Thats an additional 6-8 hours.
Conclusion : This is a nice piece of an accessory. Blends in with the PSP nicely. It even accepts the PSP battery cover to cover the back. My only complaint is the size of it. Its kind of bulky, so it gets a little use to. Not to mention, if you're using a Logitech PlayGear Pocket, you wont be able to use the case at all due to the size of the battery pack. You'll either have to eliminate the use of the case or remove the battery pack each time you're not playing.

Logic3 2.1 Sound System
Manufacturer: Logic3
Site: Buy from Logic3
Price: $79.99
Overview : Logic3 Sound System, a combined portable 2.1 speaker system and recharging docking-station designed exclusively for Sony’s PSP to create a ‘mini theatre’ to play movies or music.
This system produces astounding sound using a high class amplifier, deep bass sub-woofer and 3D surround-sound circuitry to pack a punch more powerful than its compact size suggests. Includes mains adaptor, carry-case and line-in cable.
Features :- 2.1 Sub-woofer Speaker System
- 12 Watts RMS
- Operates from AC Adaptor (included) or Batteries 4xAA (not included)
- Internal 3D surround sound processor
- Docking station for PSP re-charging
- Blue soft-light illumination
- 3.5mm Stereo line-in for playing other audio devices like MP3, MD, CD player. etc
- Dimensions: 104 x 278 x 38mm (H x W x D)
- Weight - 550g
- 3.5mm Stereo Line-in (Cable provided) to allow gameplay , or play back of other audio devices including MP3, CD player, MiniDisc etc.
- Carry Case for Sound System & PSP console.
Subwoofer - 2.5” Woofer 4ohm :Satellite Speakers - 30mm full range speaker 4ohm :- Neodymium aluminium speaker cones
- 6 Watts RMS
Control features :- Blue LED Power indicator
- Volume up/down
- Power on/off
- 3D Surround Sound on/off
Quality/Usability : As you can see, Logic3 used a folding design for portability and compactness. When the Sound System is unfolded from its compact form, the subwoofer (middle speaker) folds down and reveals the dock which includes headphone jack and power jack. A big factor when it comes to using the Sound System to watch movies is that it comes with its own AC adaptor to power the speakers as well as charging the PSP at the same time. Another great feature is the in-line jack. If you're not using the Sound System for your PSP, you can hook up your iPod, MP3/CD player or audio device and use it as a speaker system.
Now onto the audio. With the addition of the subwoofer, the bass is alot louder. The sound is clear and crisp. The Sound System features a “3D” button that sends sound to a processor that causes it to have a surround sound effect, which works nicely. Just like any portable speaker system, its not suppose to be as your main sound system so dont expect to be using this at a party or anything. Putting the speakers to the max does distort the sound a little but at the same time, is very loud.
As this is a portable speaker, whats another way to power the speakers? Of course, batteries. The speakers take four (4) AA batteries, which arent included. I tested the speakers to see how long they will last. Mind you, I tested them on and off whenever I need them. Battery life running on 4xAA batteries is approximately 15-20 hours. This outlasts your PSP and probably even your MP3 player.
Conclusion : Overall, this is a pretty good portable speaker system especially with the subwoofer. With this, your PSP experience would not be the same. The battery life is excellent, the compatibility of using other audio devices with these speakers are great and the nice sleek look is a PLUS. Only thing hampering this product from getting a 10 out of 10 is the size. Its so HUGE. Not to mention the HUGE price tag it comes with, $79.99. It would of been better if it included a remote. I can only dream right? So if you're in the market for portable speakers and have the extra cash to dish out, I suggest taking a peek at this.

Logic3 Sound Grip
Manufacturer: Logic3
Site: Buy from Logic3
Price: $34.99
Overview : Logic3 Sound Grip, a portable speaker system which incorporates handgrips to ensure that PSP won’t slip out of hands during gameplay.
Sony’s PSP fits into this Sound Grip, maintaining elegant style, design, and contours the console. Sound Grip allows easy access to all controls and has ports for earphones and power. Includes stand, batteries and carry-case.
I know most of you are probably mad about the internal speakers on the PSP with how low the volume is, right? You're probably looking for a way to boost up the volume so you can hear, right? Well than lets start and see if this is the right product for you.
Features :- Portable Speaker and Grip for PSP
- 1W RMS (0.5+0.5W) - 2 Myra speaker drivers
- High Quality Class D amplifier
- Mains / Battery operated - 2xAAA batteries (supplied), or can be used with PSP AC Adaptor.
- Pass through ports for Power & Earphones
- Stand for display
- Case to carry Sound Grip, PSP console & accessories.
Quality/Usability : The Sound Grip comes with a carry case as well as two (2) AAA batteries. The look of the grip is sleek and form fitting with the PSP. The PSP secures itself to the Sound Grip by plugging into the power and headphone jacks but there is also a clear plastic latch that goes ontop of the PSP. This latch is spring operated, so you'll have to hold the latch up when inserting the PSP and when you let go, the latch places itself right above the PSP. The latch as openings for the IR port, USB and UMD door button. There is a big opening on the back of the grip which allows the UMD door to open without having to take the PSP out. Whats great about the Sound Grip is that you have the ability to charge the PSP through the grip as well as the inclusion of the headphone jack which is located on the back of the grip.
You must be wondering how it feels in the hands. I must say, the Sound Grip feels very comfortable. But than again, it all depends on how you hold your PSP and how big your mitts are. All buttons are accessible when it is placed into the Sound Grip. Only thing not accessible is the memory stick slot. The power switch and volume controls are located at the bottom of the PSP.
The speakers themselves are a whole lot better than the stock speakers on the PSP in terms of volume. The clarity of the speakers unfortunately arent as good as the PSP's stereo speakers. As with any portable speakers, if you set the volume very high or to the max, expect sound distortion especially with the volume set high on the Sound Grip and on the PSP.
Batteries are placed on the right side of the grip on the other side the where your PSP battery would be. When turned on, a blue LED is shown on the front, above the Logic3 logo.
Also included is a stand to hold the Sound Grip and PSP. This is great for those who want louder sound for watching movies but at the same time wanting to relax without holding it the PSP.
Conclusion : Overall, this is a very good product for those looking for portable speakers to boost up the volume on your PSP. The design is well made and very comfortable in the hands but lacks in stereo quality sound. But for those who are looking for a boost in volume, I suggest getting the Sound Grip.

Capdase AUMI Professional UMD Lens Guard

Price: $4.99
Overview : Protects UMDs from scratching, scraping and abrasion.
Features :- Against scratching, scraping & abrasion.
- Protects the front & back from fingerprints.

Quality/Usability : This is a great product for those who are anal or scared of damaging their expensive UMD movies or games. These clear stickers will protect the clear part of the UMD from scratches, abrasions even fingerprints. Each package contains (1) front and (1) back.
Applying this would be the same way you would apply a screen protector onto your PSP.
Conclusion : Unfortunately, its very expensive. It only comes with (1) front and (1) back. If it was reusable, it would be better.

MisticAudio OTG Series PSP Case
Manufacturer: MisticAudio
Site: Buy from MisticAudio
Price: $32.95
Overview : High quality leather case with storage for extra UMD and two Memory Stick Duos. Also features built-in stand and extra smooth lining.
Features :- Play thru design
- UMD/Memory Stick storage
- Built-In stand
- Magnetic closure
- Soft Lining
Quality/Usability : If you have read my previous review on Capdase's Leather S-Bracket Case, this case is pretty much similiar. The OTG case features a secure magnetic closure on the front and back. The interior of the case is lined with a soft velvet lining. On the flap of the OTG case, it houses two slots for memory sticks.
The PSP slides into the OTG leather case from the top. The PSP is held tightly in place with all the buttons easily accessible. Only problem is once the PSP is in the case, accessing the PSP memory stick is a little hard. To access the UMD door, simply unsnap the buttons similar to the Leather S-Bracket Case. On the black flap, it houses a little pouch that can hold a UMD of your choice.
With the PSP in the OTG case, the comfort of holding the PSP is very comfortable. Its not bulky at all. The front leather flap serves as a good protection as well as a stand.
Conclusion : Overall, the MisticAudio OTG PSP Case is a very well made leather case considering it has two memory stick holders and a UMD. Its a little pricey but than again, its a leather case. The case provides a good amount of protection front and back. If you plan on putting memory sticks onto the underside of the front flap, I suggest getting a screen protector because it has a potential of scratching the screen.

iPorter xSD Memory Card Holder
Manufacturer: ePorter
Site: Buy from ePorter
Price: $9.95/2 pack
Overview : The iPorter xSD fits the SD, MS Duo, MMC, xD and other smaller form cards. The exterior resembles a digital camera image. The interior holds 3 cards. The iPorter xSD is great for the photographer on the go who doesn't have time or equipment immediately available to download on the road until they get back from their excursion or photo shoot.
The ePorter products are perfect for the cards, as they fit easily in your pocket along with your keys. They do not take up a lot of room in your camera bag, yet they are large enough to prevent the cards from getting lost.
The products are also great tools that allow you to cary an extra card for your PDA program or swap the card in your MP3 player to get new music.
Features :- Holds 3 Memory Cards
- Secure Digital (SD)
- xD Picture Card (xD)
- Memory Stick Duo (MSD)
- Multimedia Card (MMC)
- MMC Reduced Size
- Protects cards
- Anti Static Additive to reduce risk of shock and dust collection
- Prevents loss
- Can be used as a mailer to protect media
- Holds Cards of different formats or sizes
- Maximum Portability
- Fits on key chain or zipper
- Small form factor
- Keeps spare cards accessible
- Low cost
- Great logo / Promotional product idea
Quality/Usability : The item does its job. It protects your memory cards whether its SD, xD, Pro Duo/Duo or MMC. Its made of plastic so its very light and wont add extra weight to your keys. The case flips open pretty much like book or diary where it has that locking mechanism. Upon opening it, you will see three "sleeves". These sleeves are where you place your memory cards. To hold them in place are little "clamps". Pretty much the same thing that holds PS2 and PSP manuals in place in their respective cases.
When you place the memory cards in the "sleeve", it is held pretty well and doesnt move around at all. Even if you shake it, it still in place. You can use this for memory cards such as your Pro Duo/Duo for your PSP or your SD/xD/MMC cards for your digital camera, PDA or cellphone.
iPorter xSD comes in four different colors: Brown, Grey, Green and Blue. Currently they are sold in packs of two. You can either purchase two of the same colors or one of each color.
Conclusion : Overall, this is a great item to have if you have multiple memory cards to carry around. Its light weight and small. My only complaint is that everything is made of plastic. My only fear is that eventually when you keep opening and bending the hinges over and over again, the hinges tend to get weaker and weaker and will break sooner or later (like any other plastic items out there). This can happen to the case itself (hinges), the locking mechanism or the "sleeve" that holds the memory cards.
*UPDATE* - Response from CEO (James Porter)
If you would like to run the case over with your car or SUV to test the strength and durability, feel free to. Just know that ePorter nor DCEmu is held reliable for any damages to your case.

Capdase Deluxe UMD Protective Case
Manufacturer: Capdase
Site: Buy from Capdase
Price: $5.99
Overview : Holds up to two UMD game and/or movies or holds one UMD and up to two memory sticks. Cases are even stackable.
Features :- Designed for UMD Game Disk
- Exclusive "Press & Take" Design
- Unlimited Stacking System
- Removable rubber pad for MS Duo Cards
- 2 Holder Per Pack
- Available in black and white
Quality/Usability : The protective case is available in two colors, black and white. It can hold up to two UMD movies and/or games in separate compartments which features a swivel design. A clear cover lets you see what’s in the top compartment, while the included labels can be attached to the side of the bottom compartment for easy identification. To access the disc(s), just swing open the compartment and turn the unit over to remove it.
Whats great about this case is that you can attach multiple UMD cases to each other to create stacks that hold four, six, or more UMDs. All you have to do is just remove the clear top of the case you want to attach to the bottom of another, and snap them together. You can separate them again, but it may take a little force to take them apart.
Another great feature about this case is that each case also comes with an optional foam insert shaped like a UMD that is capable of holding two Memory Stick Pro Duo/Duo cards. So you can hold one UMD and up to two memory sticks or two UMDs. Whichever is to your likings
Conclusion : This has to probably be the best design I have seen. Its nice, sleek, creative and very easy to use. Whats so great about this case is that its stackable AND it even holds up to two memory sticks. What more can you ask for. If you need a case to hold your UMDs and/or memory sticks, this is the case to get.

Capdase Leather S-Bracket Case
Manufacturer: Capdase
Site: Buy from Capdase
Price: $17.90
Overview : Virtually identical to Nylon S-Bracket Carry Case (see review). Made of genuine leather. Features a plastic bracket that holds the PSP system in place. Easily accessible back to UMD door.
Features :- Made of Genuine Leather
- Flip-Top Case with S-Bracket attachment
- Magnetric Closure
- Openable Back Cover with Hidden Magnetic Closure
- Inner Cushion for Ultra Protection
- Available in black, white or pink
Quality/Usability : This case is virtually like the Nylon S-Bracket Carry Case. Unlike most cases, this case features a plastic bracket to hold the PSP securely. It's very easy to attach the PSP by just snapping it into the bracket. The small openings on the top and bottom of the PSP are filled with plastic pegs to hold the PSP in place. But dont worry, the plastic bracket even has openings for your USB and IR receiver, so you dont have to take out your PSP. You can hold the case upside down and shake it around without having to fear that your precious PSP will fall out.
The back of the case has a small flap. It allows you to easily change UMDs without having to remove the PSP from the S-Bracket. It's held closed by two magnets on each side that holds it in place. With most cases you have to remove the PSP from the case to change UMDs. This gives one less task for PSP owners to fiddle with.
To close and protect the PSP, it has a magnetic snap on button on the tab to hold it close. There are also some some extra padding over the screen, inside the flap to protect the PSP from any accident bumps over the screen.
Conclusion : This is a very nice case. Its very well crafted and very nice workmanship. It may feel awkward at times with the flap dangling. The idea of the UMD back cover is a great idea. Especially for those lazy ones who hate having to do extra work. Everything is pretty much accessible without having to take out the PSP. But the having an opening on the USB is another great idea. If you're in the market for a nice stylish case, be sure to check out the Leather S-Bracket.
