Slappa Hardbody Complete Case
Manufacturer: Slappa
Site: Buy from Slappa
Price: $29.99
Overview : The HardBody PSP Complete Case features the same highly protective xEVA shell as SLAPPA's award-winning HardBody CD and DVD line. It offers a storage capacity capable of carrying a gamer's full PSP collection for home storage that is also highly portable for travel. A hand sewn UMD storage page holds 6 UMDs, while separate Velcro secured scubaprene storage bags are provided for protecting and storing PSP, extra UMDs, headphones and remote separately. The PSP Complete's design is rounded out with a rainproof zipper and dual rubber SLAPPA logo pulls for an all-inclusive and sleek PSP storage case.
Features :- xEVA shell with graphite and patent PVC exterior
- Large cargo net storage pocket inside case cover for storing extra PSP accessories
- Storage divider with secure Velcro closure to hold products in place and prevent scratching
- Super-soft, hand sewn UMD storage page with max. capacity of 6 discs
Quality/Usability : This is pretty much an all in one carry case. Not only does it protect your PSP and all your games and accessories, it carries them all. The case itself features a graphite and patent PVC outer design over a xEVA HardBody shell. When you first open it, on the left side (underside of cover), is a cargo net storage where you can put your charger, headphones and other accessories. You have one divider that protects items from falling out of the cargo net storage area. The second divider is where you can store up to 6 UMDs. Each flap have velcros to prevent the flaps from moving and secures the UMDs in place.
Conclusion : Overall, this is a well laid out design. Its convenient and very sturdy. This case is for those who carry lots of games and accessories with them and need them all in one spot. Considering the size is big, it would be nice to have a little hand or some sort to make carrying a little better.

PSPonTV
Manufacturer: AsianToySource
Site: Buy from PSPonTV
Price: $79.95
Overview : The PSPonTV ™ allows you to instantly start playing your Sony PSP® games & movies on any TV! Even BIG SCREENS!
Features :- Quickly and easily connect the PSP on TV to your Sony PSP.
- Instantly start playing your favorite games or watching the latest release movies on your TV Screen.
- Works on all PSP consoles world wide.
- With the PSPonTV ™ there's absolutely NO NEED to open your Sony PSP® console. The PSP on TV is completely plug and play.
- You won't void your standard or extended warranty. When we say plug and play, we mean it. Your warranty will remain intact. Plug and Play means exactly that!
- Easy to connect and easy to use. No complicated internal wires or wiring required.
- Firmware updates are NOT required!
- No special tools required to open your PSP, no need to risk damaging it's fragile internal components.
- The PSPonTV ™ is a slim and attractive unit. Manufactured to the highest standards, with a long quality history. The PSPonTV is not just a "hack" add on from some unknown "team" or hacker group.
- Enjoy the same high quality video you've come to expect on your PSP right on your TV Screen with the PSP on TV.
What is in the box :- PSP on TV
- Dust Cap
- AV cables
- Installation Instructions
Quality/Usability : PSPonTV is probably the easiest and safest way to go if you want to play your PSP on your normal sized TV. With this, you just snap on, screw onto the PSP and just start playing as opposed to PSP2TV where you have to dismantle your PSP and change the faceplate.
The review unit of the PSPonTV was from the factory so I cant comment on the packaging nor the dust cover and how well it fits on the adapter. Instructions and dust cap will be included, I on the other hand had to request for it but you dont even need it. Its common sense and doesnt take a genius to figure out.
The unit itself attaches to the PSP by clipping onto the bottom of the PSP and two screws that go onto the top of the PSP. There are two small cables that stick out from the bottom of the adapter. One goes into the headphone/remote jack and the other plugs into the DC port. This provides power to the PSP. Other then just attaching the adapter onto the PSP, the only other things you have to do is attach the AV (red, white, yello) to your TV, plug the other end (USB) into the adapter and plug the power adapter (included with your PSP) into the adapter. Thats it, you're ready to play.
The PSPonTV unit performed fairly well on my 27” JVC. The picture was formatted for a 4:3 screen with black bars at the top and bottom preserving the original aspect of the games. The clarity of the adapter itself was pretty good. Color wise, if you have read other reviews on this product, the color is a little washed out. The brightness is too bright. To get the best result you'll have to change the brightness on your PSP. If your game is bright throughout the game, you'll want to set your PSP brightness to the lowest. If you're playing a dark game, you'll want to set it on the brightess.
The audio did have some distortions and some cracking but with a little of adjustments on the PSP and on TV, I got it to an acceptable level that wasnt too annoying.
How does it feel? Playing the PSP with the adapter attached is a little cumbersome. The adapter itself isnt heavy but it cuts close to being near the right directional and square button.
Conclusion : Overall, the PSPonTV is a decent adapter. Not only is it somewhat affordable, but its the safest and easiest setup possible. This is only for those who do not want to void their PSP warranty. If you arent too into looks and audio and only want to enjoy your portable gaming on a bigger screen, than the minor flaws wouldnt annoy you. With the lack of supplying a dust cap, I cant really say how well the cap fits to protect the inner parts of the adapter and lens.

Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2
Manufacturer: Neuros Technology
Site: Buy from Neuros Technology
Price: $149.99
Overview : The Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder is a digital VCR for the portable video age. If you own a Video iPod™ or Sony PSP™, the Recorder 2 is a must-have! Instead of buying proprietary UMD discs at $20 each or downloading TV shows for a fee from a limited catalog, you can now create open digital video files from all the content you already own. You can watch content whenever and wherever you want on your Video iPod™ or Sony PSP™.
Watch commercial here
Features :- Record effortlessly from any video source (TV Cable box, Satellite Receiver Box, PVRs or DVRs Like TiVoTM, DVD players, VCR, Camcorders).
- Simple setup that works without a PC and operates like a VCR.
- MPEG-4 video format allows you to view content directly on your PSP™,Video iPod™ or any other device that accepts Memory Stick DUO/PRO DUO or Compact Flash (CF) memory cards (not included).
- The MPEG-4 format is also compatible with most other portable media devices such as the Neuros 442.
- A great way to digitize your home movies for archiving, emailing, or playback on portables and laptops.
- Can play back from Recorder 2 through TVs and home theatres. Pocket-sized device is small enough to use as a portable VCR.
- Three resolution Settings: VGA (640 x 480) for near-DVD quality playback on TV; QVGA (320 x 240) for high-compression playback on most handhelds like the Video iPod™ and Sony PSP™; and WQVGA (368 x 208) optimized for playback of wide screen movies on the Sony PSP™.
- Four recording quality settings: Superfine, Fine, Normal, and Economy.
- Uses Advanced Audio Codec (AAC) format for high-quality stereo sound.
- Upgradeable firmware from www.neurostechnology.com for future expanded functionality.
Quality/Usability : The Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2 looks similar to its predecessor. The difference would be a new user interface, new remote control and the support of the Memory Stick Duo. The recorder is very small and light (4.6 inches x 3.42 x .71 inches. 4.9 oz.). It has a shiny black finish on the top and bottom. The front of the recorder has the IR port for to communicate with the remote as well as the CF slot and MS Duo slot. Back of the recorder has the DC 5V plug and two AV plugs (IN and OUT).
The Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2 can playback MP3, WMA audio files for music, QuickTime (MPEG-4 AAC-LC); and ASF and AVI (MPEG-4 MP3) files for video and JPEG, BMP, and GIF file for pictures.
Using the recorder is simple. Connect the DC 5V power supply. Connect a video source to the video IN (DVD player, VCR, TV, etc.). Connect the video OUT to the TV. Insert a storage card (CompactFlash or MS Duo - not included) and start recording your favorite shows.
The recorder uses three different resolutions: 320x240 (QVGA), 368x208 (WQVGA), and 640x480 (VGA). The recording format is MPEG-4 SP with AAC-LC audio at 30 frames per second. This file format is supported by the PlayStation Portable, the Apple iPod Video, and the Neuros 442 video players, and can also be played with the Apple QuickTime movie player on a PC or Apple computer.
There are four levels of recording quality for video: economic, normal, fine, and superfine. The higher the quality, the more storage space the video file will require. The QVGA and WQVGA formats can only record in economic or normal quality.
The menu itself on the recorder is pretty easy to navigate. Pictures are for pictures, music are for music...you get the point. Once you're ready to record, just hit the record button and it'll start. An on-screen display will also show on the TV but wont show on the recording. This display will tell you how much space and how much recording time has elapsed.
Once you have recorded, the videos can immediately be replayed on the TV or on the mobile device of your choice whether its the PSP or iPod Video.
Transferring the MS Duo to the PSP is simple. Just take out the MS Duo and place it into the PSP. For the iPod Video, its a bit more trickier. There is no USB port or anything to connect to the computer or to the iPod itself. This is where you'll probably have to spend a little extra unless you already have a CF card or MS Duo and a card reader. You'll have to transfer the recorded movie to either of the cards and than transfer them using a card reader to the computer. Once its on the computer, you'll have to plug your iPod Video to the computer and than transfer it. Neuros gave instructions as to how to transfer to the iPod but it seemed to take longer and more work.
The software CD that is included is The Core Pocket Media Player. It is designed for PalmOS, Windows Mobile and Windows CE. Unfortunately, I dont own or run either of them. From what I have read, it is missing the support for AAC audio format. This means that although the videos will be recorded, they may not be sound.
Specifications:
For the PSP- QVGA (320 x 240) MPEG4 + AAC-LC 30fps
- 368 x 208 (16:9) MPEG4 + AAC-LC 30fps
- VGA (640 x 480) MPEG4 + AAC-LC 30fps
Video Decoder:- MPEG4 SP, MPEG1 Layer 3 (MP3). 30 fps at D1 resolution
- DivX 3.11 @CIF resolution,4.x, 5.x 30 fps at D1 resolution
- Quicktime 6; MPEG-4 AAC-LC stereo, MP4 format at D1 resolution
Audio Decoder:- Codec: G.726
- MP3 decoding @ 30 - 320 kb/s CBR and VBR
Resolution:- Up to 16M pixels (4096 x 4096)
TV System:- Video Out format: NTSC, PAL
Typical Recording Times on a 1GB card
MPEG-4 video at 30fps @320 x 240 resolutions- 143 minutes for normal (768k)
- 250 minutes for economic (384k)
MPEG-4 video at 30fps @ 368 x 208 resolutions- 143 minutes for normal (768k)
- 250 minutes for economic (384k)
MPEG-4 video at 30fps @ 640 x 480 resolutions- 60 minutes for super fine (2M)
- 111 minutes for fine (1M)
- 143 minutes for normal(768k)
- 250 minutes for economic (384k)
Whats in the box:- The Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2
- DC 5V Power Supply
- Remote Control
- 2 sets of Audio/Video cables
- User Manual
- Software CD
Conclusion : Overall, this is a great product. There are some cons though that should be implimented in the next version. The support of USB. The previous Neuro MPEG4 Recorder had USB support but was taken out on 2. This is a mistake especially for those who dont own a card reader or a CF card or MS Duo. Not only did they already pay $150 for the recorder but have to pay extra for a card and reader.
Currently when inserting the cards, you push it in and pull it out. What would be nice is a ejection feature where you push in and the card would eject out a little. This is just something I would like to see.
What would make this even better? An internal harddrive or storage. 5GB would be enough. This will allow additional storage for movies instead of having to record movies one by one. Supposedly, this is already in the works. Dont know the exact storage size or any other information regarding this.

Power Bank 3 Rechargeable Battery
Manufacturer: Megacom (by Sperry)
Site: Buy from Sperry
Price: $50.00
Overview : Compact shape designed for PSP and multi-function supported: Battery(4400mHA) + Charger + Cradle, the Power Bank 3 is built in 4400 mHA Li-Polymer battery cell which is certified by UL, it can provide 3 times of regular battery life of PSP, in addaition, the Power Bank 3 is designed with advanced power management control IC, it can control the charge and discharge work efficiently and safely.
Features :- Nice viewing angle for UMD movies, Audio and other media.
- Stylish fitting and fashion design, easy take to go and cradle playing.
- The battery pack could auto recharge PSP battery without power adaptor.
- It could be recharged by the default PSP AC adaptor, no extra power adaptor needed.
- Built-in 4400mAh (Original one is 1800mAh) li-polymer battery and people could play PSP up to more than triple regular time.
- 3 in 1 design: Cradle, Charger & Battery (4400mAh)
Quality/Usability : The Power Bank 3 is an external 4400mAh battery that attaches to the back of the PSP. With the extra power that the Power Bank 3 offers will give a good amount of extra watching and playing time on your PSP.
From the start, the PB3 comes in a box. Not those plastic blister packs that you usually see. Once you open the package, the package is separated into two parts. One half is where a black quality carry case w/zipper is stored. The other half is where the PB3 is. Inside the case, there is a little section of the pouch that you can fit either UMDs or remote/headphones. Whats cool is that you'll be able to fit the PB3 with the PSP attached. But this probably will limit the space for UMDs in the small pouch. I wouldnt suggest using the pouch to protect your PSP as there isnt much protection to the case.
The PB3 looks very well constructed and designed. Attaching the PSP to the Power Bank 3 is as easy as 1, 2, 3. It doesnt take a genius to figure out how to snap the two items together. The bottom of the PB3 has two small grooves that "clips" onto the bottom of the PSP and two little "clips" that go into the two holes at the top of the PSP. Taking it apart is easy as well as there is a little notch at the top to place your fingers to pull the PSP and PB3 apart.
At the top of the PB3, you have two light indicators. One is to show that its being used with the PSP and the other to show that it is charging. Also at the top is the DC 5V plug as well as an ON/OFF switch. The PB3 doesnt block the IR port or the USB port. It also doesnt block the UMD button but the Power Bank 3 blocks the UMD tray door from opening.
Charging the battery doesnt cause much heat at all. A full charge of the Power Bank 3 takes approximately 3 hours. Once the pack is completely charged, the battery life for the pack itself lasts approximately 7-9 hours, depending what you're using it for and for how long. With the PSP battery, its about 10-16 hours.
How does it feel? It feels pretty good in the hands. For those with big hands might feel a little better with this as it wont cramp your hands anymore. While holding it, you'll notice the weight with the PSP and PB3 attached. So holding it for a long period of time might be a little tiring. The back of the PB3 is a flat back with no bulge or anything like the PSP itself. A nice feature added to the back of the PB3 is the kickstand. This is great for when you're watching a movie and dont want to hold the PSP. This is pretty much a standard thing now with majority of battery packs or carry cases.
Conclusion : Overall, the Power Bank 3 is a great product. With the official and aftermarket 1800mAh batteries ranging from $30-$45, this battery pack is at a really good price only costing around $50-52 USD. My suggestion would be to add a small bulge to the left and right just like the PSP. This will allow better grip when held in the hands instead of a flat back. Although its easy to take the Power Bank 3 off the PSP, its a little hassle having to do that just to access the UMD door. It would be inconvenient for those who are moving around or dont have the hands to juggle everything.

Price: $22.95
Overview : Waterproof, crushproof and protects your PSP.
Features :- The versatile P-3000 box is the perfect fit for your PSP™ (PlayStation™ Portable)
- Includes internal foam and lanyard
- Top Foam keep PSP™ from moving while case is closed
- Includes holes to use travel lock for security

- Crushproof, Airtight, Watertight and it floats!
- Lifetime Guarantee
- Available Colors: Fluorescent Yellow, Sky Blue, Midnight Black, Clear
Dimensions- Internal 7.875" x 3.8125" x 1.5"
- External 8.375" x 4.375" x 1.875"
- Weight .726 lbs
Quality/Usability : Right off the bat, this case wont win the beauty contest but it looks like a construction workers lunchbox, a first aid box or a case to carry things. Due to the size, you wont be able to fit this in your jean pockets and if you have a small backpack with books or whatnot, there probably wouldnt be enough room.
The case itself has two latches similar to those on toolbox's to keep the lid closed. The case is made of fiber-glass. The hinges and latches are held in place with stainless steel pins so you dont have to worry about them breaking off. The inner of the case is fitted with foam as well as silicon o-rings to prevent water from entering the case. There isnt much space or any room at all to hold anything else such as UMD, remote, or headsets. You probably could fit your memory sticks as it is flat.
There is also another model, P3500. This case looks pretty much identical but is the big..alot bigger. It looks like a car battery but plastic. The P3500 holds not only the PSP but accessories as well. Unfortunately, its not available yet so I couldnt give exact information.
Conclusion : Overall, this isnt something you would be flashing around the city or be carrying around. This is more for those who are more active such as camping, fishing (boats) or a runner. With the extra room in the case, the manufacturer can probably add cut outs for the memory sticks, headset/remote or for at least 1-2 UMDs on the foam of the lid. This would make the case more useable instead of just for the PSP. How are we going to protect our games and accessories?

PSP Rechargeable Grip
Manufacturer: PEGA
Site: Buy from Brando
Price: $12.00
Overview : Rechargeable battery pack and grip for better comfort when holding the PSP.
Features :- Adjustable grip
- More controlled and comfortable grip on your PSP
- Built-in Rechargeable Batteries (600mAh)
Quality/Usability : Upon opening the package and removing the grip, you can tell the grip is flimsy and felt like you can easily break it. The grips slide apart and are held by a thing plastic track. Once you snapped and attached the grip to the PSP, the grip is held snuggly.
When using the grip, it felt comfortable and prevented any hand cramping for those who have oversized mits (hands). It kind of felt like an oversized PlayStation Dual Shock control minus the rumble of course.
In addition to it being a grip, included is a built-in rechargeable battery pack that is located inside the grips. This is a great addition for those who want additional playing time when using the grip. Too bad there is no battery indicator to inform you if and when the battery is charged or dead. The battery should get you about 1.5-3 hours depending on if you're playing a game, watching a movie or using it continously.
Unfortunately, if you are using the grip and you're playing a game and want to switch to another game or want to watch a UMD movie, the grip prevents you from doing so. The grip blocks the UMD tray from opening. So inorder to swap discs, you'll have to detach the grip inorder to access the UMDs. Not only does this block the UMD tray, but the memory stick slot as well. For those who swap memory sticks often whether its for emulators or movies, you'll have to detach the grip inorder to access the memory stick slot.
Conclusion : This grip has its flaws especially the blocking of the UMD tray, the memory stick slot as well as the grip feeling a little flimsy. But the extra play time that the rechargeable battery provides kind of makes up for it. But having a rechargeable battery pack with no indicator defeats the purpose. How would one know whether or not the battery if fully charged or dead?

Capdase Jean Case
Manufacturer: Capdase
Site: Buy from Capdase
Price: $15.00
Overview : Virtually identical to the S-Bracket Leather Case, Twins Case PSP case and Nylon S-Bracket case.
Features :- Made of water-resistant nylon
- Secure S-bracket attachment.
- Two memory stick pouches
- Flip up inner S-Bracket for easier UMD replacement.
- Inner Cushion for Ultra Protection.
- Belt loop and strap-connectable.
- Easy installation and release.
- Use as Theatre Stand.
- Jean Rush color.
Quality/Usability : This case is virtually identical to the Nylon S-Bracket Case, except that has a jean look and feel to it. Everything that was featured on the Nylon S-Bracket is also featured in the Jean case. The only exception is that now it houses two memory stick slots on the underside of the cover.
This case is also exactly like the Twins PSP case except it doesnt have the accessories case attached to it. The case is extremely light, due to the jean material, but a stiff material has been added between the fabric layers for extra protection. There’s a belt loop on the back, as well as a carabiner attachment (silver carabiner is included).
There isnt much to be said about it as it is identical to the other cases so you can read up on the other reviews.
Conclusion : Overall, this is a great case just a minor change to the case (memory stick slots) Other than that, its the same ole case as the Nylon S-Bracket. Nothing else has changed. It would be great if they could fit a UMD slot as well or a zipper pouch on the outside. Keeps dust out and protects the system very well. Whats a good thing about this is that you can use it as a stand to watch your movies. If you're looking for an all-in-one which holds the PSP and accessories, check out the Twins case.

WaterField Designs Gear Pouch
Manufacturer: WaterField Designs
Site: Buy from WaterField Designs
Price: $39.00
Overview : The PSP Gear Pouch is made from Ballistic nylon, with padding internally protecting the PSP and other items. The main compartment includes a self tightening pocket, which has enough room for your PSP in a case. Three pockets give you room for game disks, an extra battery and the power supply. There is enough spare room between the sides to carry your power cord, a large spare battery and the manual.
Features :- PSP Gear Pouch - 9.75" x 5" x 2" 4 oz.
Quality/Usability : The concept of this case is pretty much the same as of that of the Capdase Twin Case that was reviewed. But the Waterfield Pouches take on a whole new look. The cases are made in San Francisco, California..thats right, no overseas manufacturers. Made in the good ole US of A. The PSP Pouches are built from rugged Ballistic nylon, offer ample padding, and secure zippers and seams. Each case has two handy loops for easier carrying or for strapping to your backpack or messenger bag - one vertical loop and one horizontal loop. Both cases (Gear Pouch and Mini Gear Pouch) come in a variety of colors and are priced just as you'd expect.
The Gear Pouch measures - 9.75" x 5" x 2". It is the perfect size for those of us who want to bring along more than just our PSP. The pouch features a padded and lined compartment for your PSP; a main compartment for the AC adapter, power cord and USB cable; slots for UMD games, movies and more; and a zippered front compartment with various slots for things like Memory Sticks and miscellaneous. The case offers so much room that you can fit other items such as your wallet, cash, coins and even spare AA/AAA batteries for your CD player or digital camera. Whats even more of a shocker is that you can place your PSP into a Logitech PlayGear case (if you own own) and still be able to place it inside the Gear Pouch. Thats how much room there is!
Conclusion : This is probably one of the nicest cases out there. Nothing too fancy and nothing too boring. It does its job and probably more. You dont have to hold your PSP and accessories in here, you can use it for other items such as your digital camera or other electronics, but than whats the point of calling this a PSP Gear Pouch? The sizes of the pouch may turn consumers head away because it does kind of look like a clutch bag that your girlfriend or mother would carry around in their hands. But if you want a nice case to hold your PSP and accessories all in one place, than thats the price we'll have to pay.

PSP CoreCase
Manufacturer: CoreCases
Site: Buy from CoreCases
Price: $14.95 (plain) / $24.95 (with vinyl)
Overview : Hard, sturdy aluminum protection for your PSP.
Features :- Anodized aluminum case with hands free viewing option.
- Get all the functions from the PSP while the neoprene liner protects it from the real world.
- Flip style lid has interior storage for two duo-memory cards.
- Lanyard attachment point for use with the PSP lanyard option
Quality/Usability : The CoreCase is a little different from your average aluminum cases because it opens to the rear, instead of towards the front. The case has openings cut out for access to every major function except for the UMD door. While in the case, the PSP feels great in it. The back of the CoreCase is designed to resemble the back of the PSP itself. But when holding the PSP with the lid open, it may get in the way of your fingers. On the underside of the lid cover, houses two memory stick slots. When the memory sticks are placed inside the slots, its pretty much flush and the sticks doesnt protrude. So there is no worrying of the sticks scratching your precious screen.
A nice feature added to the case was the addition of two magnets on the rear hinge and the back of the case. With these magnets included, this will help prop the PSP into a stand which is great for movie viewing. You dont have to worry about the case falling flat or anything. The interior of the case is well protected and actually feels good.
Conclusion : Overall, the CoreCase offers great protection. My only complaint is the accessibility to the UMD Door. This case comes very close to the Capdase Luxury Case. Not only is it affordable but it also gives the owners the option of customizing the case with vinyl skins.
PS: Unfortunately, vinyl skins arent offered on the website. There will be 6 choices to choose from.

PSP Flexible Hand Grip Pad
Manufacturer: Dragonplus
Site: Buy from Brando
Price: $7.00
Overview : Flexible hand Grip Pad give you a gamepad feel for your PSP. Make you more comfortable for longer play.
Features :- Smart and compact design
- Soft rubber pad design give you comfortable feeling
- Special controller pad design, for more easy control and good for longer play
Quality/Usability : This product pretty much resembles the PSP Rechargeable Grip. Only difference between this grip and the Rechargeable Grip that was reviewed is that this is made of rubber and doesnt have a rechargeable grip. So what are you getting? Just what the title says; a flexible hand grip.
The two grips are retractable for easier storage. Once separated, the two grips are held by a thin track. Just like the PSP Rechargeable Grip, this also feels a little flimsy. But once it is attached to the PSP, it is held securely.
This also has the PlayStation Dual Shock controller feel to it minus the rumble feature.
But what makes this slightly better is that you are able to access the UMD tray without having to remove the grip. The memory stick slot is still blocked but people mostly use the UMD tray to access their game or movies.
Conclusion : If you're just looking for a grip and no added items, this is the grip to take a look at. This feels great in your hands and is great for those with big hands and cramp after a few minutes of play. But for an extra $5, you can get a plastic grip with a rechargeable battery built-in.
