PSP Wireless Headphone
Manufacturer: Unknown
Site: Buy from Brando
Price: $12.00
Overview : No more dangling wires or extra cord length when listening to your PSP via headphones whether you're playing games, watching movies or listening to your music.
Features :- Frequency : 88.5 MHz
- Work distance : 5 ~ 15 meters.
- Transmitter : 2 x AAA batteries.
- Headset : 2 x AAA batteries.
- On/Off switch.
- Two parts of transmitter and wireless headset.
- Adopting the latest wireless transmitting technology to receive the sound signal without cord.
- With FM radio, search channel automatically and receive FM broadcasting.
- Novel in design with handsome appearance.
Quality/Usability : The transmitter itself looks like a battery but its really not..for the PSP that is. The transmitter clips onto the back of the PSP. By it clipping on the back of the PSP, it blocks the UMD tray from opening so if you want to swap a game or movie, you'll have to remove the transmitter first.
- FM Tuner
Upon using the wireless headphones as a FM tuner, the reception was pretty good but at times it had static. The sound quality was pretty good as well but depending where I stood, the sound would have a little static and some interruptions/distortions. The transmitter does not have to be plugged into the PSP inorder to listen to FM stations.
- FM Transmitter
This is where you would listen to your PSP through the wireless headphone. You'll need to plug the FM transmitter into the headphone jack on the PSP. Since there is only one frequency, the headphones will have to be set to 88.5. Once the transmitter is connected and set to 88.5, you can hear the sounds from the PSP. But there is one problem. Like any other FM transmitter, sound is always low. It doesnt matter if you have a $5 transmitter that you bought off of eBay or a $75 FM transmitter that you can get from Belkin, Apple or any other company sells. The volume that is being transmitted is lower than you expect. Even with the volume set at the highest level, you can still barely hear the sound coming from the PSP. If you're in a noisy environment, putting the volume on full blast wouldnt make a difference. Inorder to fully hear the sound without any noise is to lock yourself in an empty house and in a closet. OK, not that extreme but you get the idea..somewhere that isnt noisy.
Conclusion : Overall, this product is a good idea but the lack of volume from the FM transmitter is a little dissappointing then again, that is how it is with majority of the FM transmitters that you see out on the market. The FM Tuner works great if you want to listen to your local radio station. Considering the price is cheap, if you have the extra cash to spend, I suggest taking a peek at this little gadget.

Capdase Camouflage Case
Manufacturer: Capdase
Site: Buy from Capdase
Price: $15.00
Overview : Virtually identical to the S-Bracket Leather Case, Twins Case PSP case and Nylon S-Bracket case.
Features :- Made of water-resistant nylon
- Secure S-bracket attachment.
- Two memory stick pouches
- Flip up inner S-Bracket for easier UMD replacement.
- Inner Cushion for Ultra Protection.
- Belt loop and strap-connectable.
- Easy installation and release.
- Use as Theatre Stand.
- Camouflage Forest color.
Quality/Usability : This case is virtually identical to the Nylon S-Bracket Case and Jean Case. Everything that was featured on the Jean case is also featured in the Camouflage case. The only difference that the Camouflage and Jean case has that the Nylon doesnt, is that now it houses two memory stick slots on the underside of the cover.
This case is also exactly like the Twins PSP case except it doesnt have the accessories case attached to it. The case is extremely light, due to the jean material, but a stiff material has been added between the fabric layers for extra protection. There’s a belt loop on the back, as well as a carabiner attachment (silver carabiner is included).
There isnt much to be said about it as it is identical to the other cases so you can read up on the other reviews.
Conclusion : Overall, this is a great case just a minor change to the case (memory stick slots) Other than that, its the same ole case as the Nylon S-Bracket. Nothing else has changed. It would be great if they could fit a UMD slot as well or a zipper pouch on the outside. Keeps dust out and protects the system very well. Whats a good thing about this is that you can use it as a stand to watch your movies. If you're looking for an all-in-one which holds the PSP and accessories, check out the Twins case.
There are other colors available such as: Camouflage Forest, Camouflage Lava and Camouflage Ocean.

PSP 3800mAh External Battery Power Station
Manufacturer: GameTop
Site: Buy from Brando
Price: $20.00
Overview : This battery pack for PSP connects externally to the PSP console and packs a massive 3800mAh of extra power for your PSP console, allowing up to three times the battery life. Acting as an external power source, the highest level of brightness (200 cd/m2) can be used. For convenience, an extra long cable is provided.
Features :- LED indicator
- Rechargeable Lithium Battery
- This battery can be clip on your PSP and it can be a PSP stand.
- Capacity: 3800mAh
- Provides up to three times the battery life for your PSP
- Can be used with or without Sony internal battery pack
- Enables "Ultra-bright" display mode
Quality/Usability : Technically this battery pack doesnt clip onto the back of the PSP. What is actually clipped onto the PSP is the battery packs "holster". Once the holster is in place, the battery pack can be slipped in and out. This is convenient for those who swap UMD games or movies. If you need to access the UMD tray, all you need to do is remove the battery pack and this will give room for the UMD tray to open. Once you swapped the UMD you want, just place the battery pack back in and reconnect the cable. The holster also acts as a stand. Flip the stand down and you'll be able to prop the PSP up for viewing purposes.
With this external battery pack, you can get about 7-8 hours of additional play..thats roughly 10-12 hours total!
There are two versions of the 3800mAh External Battery Power station. The first one comes with the holster and short cord (pictured below). The second one comes with the battery pack and a long cord (not pictured). If you have the latter version of the Power station, since it doesnt come with the holster, you can just stick the battery pack in your backpack or pocket and still be able to charge and play. This is great for those who have cases such as the Logitech PlayGear Pocket that prevents any additional accessories to be attached to the PSP.
Conclusion : This is probably the most useful external battery pack I have reviewed. Not only does the holster become a stand, but the battery life on this is great. Not to mention the ability to remove the pack to give easy access to the UMD tray.

iSkin Neo Case
Manufacturer: iSkin
Site: Buy from iSkin
Price: $49.99
Overview : The iSkin neo for the Sony PSP® brings together the rich feel of genuine lamb skin leather with functional and protective features that combine to create an essential companion to your PSP®. Crafted from genuine lamb skin, the iSkin neo personifies the quality and exceptional elegance of the PSP® keeping it true to its form and providing a protective barrier against the everyday world. A flexible design gives users quick access to controls, ports and the UMD® loading tray. It also has built-in storage for an additional game cartridge and two memory cards with a fold out design that's genius. Best of all it comes in a variety of fashionably cool colors that are a match for your best outfit.
Features :- Covers and protects screen when not in use
- Smooth, soft, high grade genuine lamb skin
leather.
- Hands free "kickstand" mode for comfortable viewing of movies and other content.
- Easy access to both UMD® storage and PSP® loading tray.
- Easy access to all controls during gameplay.
- Dual storage for Memory Stick Pro Media
- FREE PSP® Media software included.
Quality/Usability : The iSkin Neo is a very nice looking case. Available in 5 luxurious colors; limegreen (Hornet), red (Baron), blue (Typhoon), black (Panther) and white (Lightning). It kinda resembles the MisticAudio OTG Series Case that was reviewed here. The straps, snaps, pockets and lining are all very high quality, and integrate quite nicely into the overall design.
The case provides everything a PSP owner could want in a PSP case. When closed it provides fairly sturdy protection and padding. When open all of the buttons and ports are exposed, including the UMD slot which can be easily accessed by unsnapping the back flap. There are two storages for your memory sticks on the underside of the front flap, and one UMD storage inside the back flap. There is even a fold out “kickstand” that props the PSP unit up for easy movie viewing.
My only complaint is that although the Neo holds the PSP snuggly with a hard leather encased border that wraps around the front of the PSP along the sides and a little bit along the bottom, the border comes right up to the edge of the circle button and the directional pad. Due to the thickness of the leather around the borders, I found this annoying at times when I tried to press the circle button and directional pad
Conclusion : The Neo case has so much potential but with this major flaw which hinders gameplay, the score dropped dramatically. If iSkin can redesign the case to move the leather borders back away from the buttons and controls, this could be a nice case to purchase. If you're in the market for storage and looks, get this but if you're going to use this for gaming as well..I suggest moving on.
With each purchase of the iSkin Neo case, you get a free code to download a Multimedia Management software called jumpPSP (Joint Universal Media Portal). It lets you transfer music files, video files, even PDF files for viewing. It even saves your game play data. Program works for MAC and PC.

be.ez LArobe PSP
Manufacturer: be.ez
Site: Buy from be.ez
Price: £14.95 inc VAT (no US pricing yet)
Overview : LArobe PSP is made in a soft, shape-memory material, ideal to dress your PSP™ in an original fashion while protecting it from mobile life worries.
Features :- Low Resilience Polyurethane (LRPu) Technology
- Robe protection Thickness 5MM
- Trendy, Unique Design
- Inner Lip for maximum protection
- Stand alone or in your bag
- No more Scratchs for your PSP™
Quality/Usability : The LArobe PSP is a new pocket sized sleeve that closes with a zipped finish similar to a jewelery case, offering protection, originality and quality. The LArobe PSP was designed to efficiently protect the PSP without diminishing its original styling, providing a credible alternative to other monotone looking protective cases. The LArobe PSP is made of a soft, shape-memory material, ideal to fashionably dress your PSP in a 'couture' style while protecting it from day to day wear and tear. There isnt any room or any extra pockets to store memory sticks or UMD games. Once you place the PSP into the pouch, it will be a tight fit. The PSP wont be moving around.
The LArobe PSP uses low resilience polyurethane (LRPu) technology and offers robe protection thickness with an inner lip for maximum protection. The cases come in a variety of colours from bright pink to turquoise blue, apple green or black, providing a different and attractive product range.
Conclusion : This is a great alternative to the stock PSP black pouch. With the added zipper, this is even more secure because you dont have to worry about the PSP falling out. Too bad there isnt a small pouch on the back to hold any UMDs or memory sticks. Not to mention a belt clip, belt loop or carabiner for easy portablility.

Intec Sound System
Manufacturer: Intec
Site: Buy from Intec
Price: $29.99
Overview : Maximize the sound of your PSP with Intec’s PSP Sound System! This sound system features stereo speakers with adjustable angle for a better gaming experience. Designed & styled for the PSP handheld. Use the PSP’s existing AC power adapter to power the sound system and the PSP, or power it up with 3AA batteries while on the go!
PSP slips into sound system for a secure fit
Charge your PSP while you watcha movie in full stereo sound, or listen to your favorite music!
Power it up with your existing PSP AC adaptor, or use 3 AA batteries when on the go!
Features :- Folds flat for easy storage
- Operates on AC power (from PSP charger) or 3 AA batteries (not included)
- 3.5-watt per channel bass and tweeter combination stereo speakers
- Headphone jack
- Docking station for PSP recharging
- Drawstring back to carry speakers and PSP system
Control features :- Green LED power indicator
- Volume up/down
- Power on/off
Quality/Usability : The speakers come out looking flat out of the packaging. In order for it to actually stand, you'll have to turn the base around for it to takes its shape as a stand. On the base itself, there is a door which is the compartment for where you insert 3 AA batteries. Also included are 2 small screws. These screws, one being a spare incase you lost the first screw, will help keep the battery door closed.
Once the stand is in its upright position, the front of the base you will find the usual buttons such as the power button, a power indicator light, a button to increase and decrease the volume and a earphone jack so you can listen to your music and movies without disturbing those around you.
By looking at the speakers, the inner part of the speakers is curved and is designed to hug around the PSP. To install, you simply slide the PSP into the plugs that are on the speakers. If you have a wrist strap, you may need a little extra force to push in the left side (directional pad side). If the PSP is not fully in (connecting to the headphone jack), the sound system will not power on.
The speakers themselves are very loud. I set the PSP's volume to the max as well as the sound speakers and there wasnt alot of distortion. The sound was very clear. Only problem is the volume button. I had to press it a couple of times before you actually noticed the volume either got louder or lower.
Conclusion : Intec really spent their time making this portable. Especially the weight. Its so light. When I first opened the package and held the sound system in my hand, I thought to myself, this thing is so cheap because its so light. But its really not. The weight may fool you but the sound wont. The sound system is truly portable.
The sound system’s base comes with four rubber feet to prevent the sound system from sliding. There are six rubber feets as well (three on each side) to prevent the sound system from sliding when it is not in use. The option of using three AA batteries or a power adapter to power the sound system is also a nice option to have.
Like all sound systems, the audio will not be like your home theather system or DVD quality but for something so portable, its pretty good quality compared to the PSP's built in speaker. Compared to the Logic3 2.1 Sound System, this is a steal. $29.99 vs $79.99? But the Logic3 does have features the Intec doesnt. But if you're looking for a portable sound system for a decent price, I suggest taking a look at the Intec Sound System.
The bottom picture is pretty much how the design will look. The final product has the same base which has the on/off switch, volume up/down, headphone jack, etc. The only different is that the speakers arent as curved and as big.
The design below is an illustration of the product from Intec. The final product looks similar but not exactly the same. I will update pictures when they are available.

Intec Recharging Dock w/USB Charge Cable
Manufacturer: Intec
Site: Buy from Intec
Price: $9.99
Overview : Display and charge your PSP with Intec’s Recharging Dock Station! Place your PSP in the cradle and maximize your gaming time by charging your PSP and your extra battery simultaneously. This charging station keeps your handheld system secure on your desk or night table. This cradle is also perfect for desktop gaming, allowing you to sit the unit on your desk while you play or watch movies! Designed & styled for the PSP handheld.
Cradle charges your PSP and has en extra compartment to charge an additional PSP battery!
Features :- Charges battery and PSP when not in use
- Transfer data from PC to PSP using USB cable (included)
- Charge PSP and battery without the use of the dock
- Blue LED light indicates charging
- 3 inch x 1 1/2 inch (W x D)
Quality/Usability : The recharging dock is molded specifically to hold the PSP along the bottom of the device. The recharging dock measures approximately three-inches wide and one and a half inch deep. The base of the Recharging Dock also has four rubber grip pads to prevent the dock from sliding. There is a support bracket on the back of the dock holds the PSP up. The clear plastic centerpiece also illuminates to blue when the Recharging Dock is being powered and charged.
The recharging dock recharges the battery in your PSP when the system is not in use. You can also power the PSP when you have it placed on to the dock. The power port is located on the back of the dock.
While the PSP is charging on the dock, you can also transfer data from your PC to the PSP without worrying about the PSP dying on you. This is great considering one cable does both the transfering of data and charging the PSP.
Conclusion : The dock does a great job of displaying movies, is that what its suppose to do? HEHE. It would of been nice if it gave us the ability to adjust the angle. The dock itself is not portable-friendly due to the size, so you'll need a backpack or something to carry it. The most useful thing is that the cable has a mini-B USB cable as well as a recharging cable at the end. Without the dock, you can still transfer data and charge the PSP if you are near a computer or if you have a laptop with you. For the price alone, its worth it just for the cable. To me, the dock is an added bonus.

Capdase Luxury Hard Case
Manufacturer: Capdase
Site: Buy from Capdase (Black) / Buy from Capdase (Silver)
Price: $25.55
Overview : Hard case to protect your PSP. Holds two Memory Stick Pro Duo's on the cover flap. Includes a leather wrist strap. Available in Black and Silver.
Features :- Anodized aluminum case
- Soft touch rubberized back holder
- Ultra lightweight
- 360 degree free angle cover
- Direct replace UMD
- Setup stand for playing movie
- Provide the memory card slot * 2
- Approx 85g
Quality/Usability : Another case released by Capdase. Unlike the previous Capdase cases I reviewed, this is aimed more at protection wise and is user friendly. This case is similar to the Logitech PlayGear Pocket case. Besides the difference in looks wise, the Luxury Hard Case is smaller and lighter compared to the PlayGear Pocket, not to mention it has a "door" that opens to access the UMD drive as well as two slots to store your memory sticks.
Whats great about this case is that the lid can actually flip open completely so that its not at a 90 degree angle or half folded down. This can somewhat be used as a grip. The case also can be used as a stand to watch your PSP movies.
The bottom/back of the case has a rubberish feel to it but at the same time, having a hardness to it. This prevents the PSP from moving around. The Hard Case also has two little pegs that go into the holes on top of the PSP to provide an even more sturdiness. The memory stick, POWER button, USB port and UMD button are all easily accessible when in the case..even with the lid closed.
The memory stick slot themselves are a little sturdy when you place the memory stick in them. They fit well, but if the sticks arent fully in the slot, they can easily fall out with a little tap. Especially when you have the lid folded all the way.
The case comes with a black leather wrist strap.
Conclusion : Although the case looks nice and smells like brand new sneakers..there are some flaws. When the PSP is placed into the case and closed, I had a hard time trying to get the cover open. The memory stick slots was another flaw as mentioned above. But there was also the good such as the UMD door that flips down to allow the UMD tray to open as well as easy access to the memory stick port and all other buttons without having to take out the PSP. Its a bit pricey for this case compared to the Logitech PlayGear Pocket which retails for $19.99.

Krusell Leather Gamic Multidapt
Manufacturer: Krusell
Site: Buy from Krusell
Price: $29.95
Overview : The tailor-made Gamic Multidapt® leather case combines functionality and design. Cutouts makes it easy to access all function buttons, etc.
You can store both your memory sticks and an extra UMD disc in the case. Made in Nappa leather of the best quality, and form factor. A must have for the serious gamer!
Features :Quality/Usability : Krusell's tailor-made leather case for the new Sony PSP-1000 is now here. The PSP-1000 Gamic Multidapt® case combines functionality and design in a new unique way. All functions have easy access, and you can store both your memory sticks and an extra disc in the case.
The Gamic Multidapt® case uses Krusell's patented Multidapt® flexible personal and vehicle mounting system. Choose the option that's right for you from the Multidapt® accessories. The Spring Clip is included with the case.
This is probably the best looking leather case I have reviewed yet. Not only is it stylish but its also convenient. You can mount this to your car dash, bike, belt, etc. The leather case has openings easily accessible for the directional pad, buttons, UMD button, bottom face buttons as well as the memory stick port and Power button. Whats also nice about this is that it has little holes cut out so you can see the LED lights for the power, memory stick port and wireless LAN.
The case pretty much consists of two pieces. One holds the PSP itself and the other is the flap cover that covers the screen of the PSP as well as holding a UMD disc and your memory sticks. The flap cover snaps onto the PSP case via buttons. There are four on the back (two on each side) and one on each side of the bottom. This is where the flap locks into place when you're no longer using the PSP. Whats also great about this case is that it has a clear plastic covering that protects the PSP screen while it is in the case.
There is one small button on the right side of the case. This allows you to place the PSP into the case. Once inside the case, you can snap the buttons together. Once the PSP is in the case, it fits snuggly and all the openings are aligned perfectly.
On the back of the flap, it houses a clipping mechanism. This is where you attach the Multidapt® accessories. You can clip the PSP to a spring swivel clip, a bike mount, belt clip, car mount, etc.
Conclusion : This is probably the best quality leather case I have ever reviewed. The PSP fits snuggly and all buttons and features are easily accessible. Only complaint is that it leaves the directional pad and buttons open to accidental hits and dust. You can use the case pratically anywhere. With the different clips, straps, swivels and vehicle attachments to choose from, it expands the use of the product. This is the only company I buy leather cases from. Quality is great and lasts long plus, it looks sleek. If you got the cash and in the market for a leather case..PICK THIS UP!

Thunder Power Pack (3600mAh)
Manufacturer: DragonPlus
Site : Buy from Brando
Price: $15.00
Overview : This power pack contains a 3600mAh lithium-ion battery, compatible with PSP, NDS and GBA SP, long standby hours and extend your play time.
Features :- Extra power source suitable for PSP, NDS and GBA SP
- 168 hours stand by battery capacity
- Heavy duty 3600mAh lithium-ion battery
- LED indicator
- Quick charge and supply power over 8 hours with PSP console
- Quick charge and supply power over 16 hours with NDS console
- Quick charge and supply power over 24 hours with GBA SP console
- Battery size : 73.0 x 57.2 x 24.1 mm
Quality/Usability : You would charge this like you would with your PSP. You can plug your PSP AC adapter to charge the battery pack or use one of those USB power cables. On average, it takes about 1-2 hours to charge the battery pack completely. Once its done charging, just take one end of the cable (included) and plug it into the battery pack and the other end of the cable into the DC port of the PSP. You should get an additional 8 hours of play time on the PSP.
You can also use this battery pack to power your GBA SP or NDS as the cable that is included has a Nintendo plug.
When charging, the LED will flash. When its done charging, the LED will stay lit. But if you're charging and using it at the same time, the LED will turn off.
Another good feature is that the battery has 168 hours of stand by. So when its not in use, it will store the energy.
Conclusion : This is just like any other battery pack. Nothing special and does its job. Just charge the pack and use when you need it. If its low on battery, just charge and reuse. Simple right? Whats great about this is that it gives an extra 8 hours to your PSP and also includes a plug for your GBA SP/NDS..thats if you own one.
