Kingmax microSD to Pro Duo Adapter
Manufacturer: Kingmax
Site: Buy from Brando
Price: $17.00
Overview : Transform microSD into Memory Stick Duo
Features :- Ideal for use in small digital devices
- Transform microSD into Memory Stick PRO Duo format
- Compatible with Memory Stick PRO Duo device e.g. PSP
Specifications :- Form factor:
- MS PRO Duo adapter: 31(w) x 20(H) x 1.6(D)mm
- Operating Voltage: 2.7V~3.6V
- Weight Aggrox. 1g
Quality/Usability : Some of you have probably heard about this unique adapter. The Kingmax microSD to Pro Duo Adapter allows you to use your microSD card, also known as TransFlash, in your electronic devices that uses Pro Duo such as Sony Ericsson cellphones and your Sony PSP.
Prices of microSD are fairly cheap and are the size of a thumbnail. If you can find the right deal, you can get a 1GB microSD card for free or for $10. The bigger the storage, the higher the price. This is a great alternative to having to buy a 1GB Pro Duo card.
Slipping the microSD card into the Pro Duo adapter is like any other adapter whether its Pro Duo to Memory Stick adapter, microSD to SD adapter and so on. Removing it is the same as well.
Once a microSD card is inserted, reading and writing is about the same as if it was a Pro Duo. I used Brando 55 in 1 Card Reader/Writer and the speeds of reading/writing to the card is fairly quick.
I tried the adapter both in my Sony PSP and Sony Ericsson w810i. I tested this with a SanDisk, PNY and US Modular 1GB microSD cards. In both devices, they both read the adapter without a problem. Listening to music and playing videos did not show any signs of slow down. With regards to playing games on the PSP, I didnt notice any slow downs or lags.
Conclusion : Overall, the Kingmax microSD to Pro Duo Adapter is great if you have microSD cards laying around the house. The speed of reading and writing is as fast as a normal Pro Duo card. Luckily, the price of microSD cards are cheap so it makes a good alternative to the Pro Duo card. Currently, the highest microSD card available is 2GB.

Hell Skull
The Hell Skull design incorporates Japanese and American styled art; blended into a truly unique piece of PSP accessory. This design also comes in Gold or Silver with pearl black PSP faceplate back drop.
All Dual Layered S.E. CAMY PRO GEAR FACEPLATES comes in our highly sorted after “retail pack”. Finely crafted, these packs are ready for your online or retail store. The retail pack includes the following:- Clam shell packaging
- Custom Dual Layered PSP faceplate
- Screw driver
- Spare Screws
- All buttons
- Detailed Full Colored Installation Instructions
Quality/Usability : Camy International has entered the PSP market with their own faceplates. You must think that its just an ordinary aftermarket faceplate. Yes, thats true but these are different. How so? Well, these faceplates are "Dual Injected". What is "Dual Injected" you might ask? First off, these faceplates have designs on them and not the usual solid color faceplates. Secondly, the quality the design is the same as that of the original PSP faceplates made by Sony. This means that there are two separate layers, one with the design which is actually on the outside (not inside as some suggested) and the other is a clear coating to protect the design from coming off.
The packaging looks professional and is sealed all around unlike some accessories out there that uses a latch or cheap seal. Inside the packaging, you have the faceplate, screwdriver with magnetic tip, spare screws in case you strip the original screws, entire button set and instruction manual.
The instruction manual is easy to understand. But its always good to have other sources for instructions on how to dismantle the faceplate such as IGN.
Installing the faceplate is easy. Installation can take about 15-20 minutes, depending how fast you work and how careful you are. I took my time as I'm anal and a perfectionist when it comes to these things. One little dust particle would irk me. Not to mention, I'm not really the type of person to open up my system and do these modifications since I'm not all that handy with tools. So, if I can do it so can you! There is a problem though. Once you have the faceplate on and everything put back together, you might experience a problem with the UMD tray. It wont close. To fix this problem, you will need to modify the case a little by shaving off some of the plastic using either a dremel or x-acto knife.
Its nice that the screwdriver included has a magnetic tip. Easy for getting those screws out and whats also nice is that they include spare screws. I personally used my stock buttons rather then the ones that came with the faceplate because the buttons that came with the faceplate left gaps. But both stock and aftermarket buttons fit fine.
I dont know if it was already on the faceplate or if I caused the problem even though I used a microfiber cloth to clean the screen but I noticed some swirly scratches. I dont know if its on the inside or outside. But it can be an annoyance when playing with your PSP.
Conclusion : Overall, the Camy Pro Gear Dual Injection Faceplates is a nice faceplate. From the craftsmanship to the quality, its top-notch all around but the UMD tray situation is a big problem. The designs of these faceplates are also nice looking as well and will definitely turn some heads. The Dual Injection Faceplates are roughly $5 less than the Official Sony PSP Faceplates. Although, Camy does not have a online store, you can purchase from DecalGirl as they are the Official sellers for Camy. Hopefully the bad batches that were sent out are not the actual retail packages sent to sellers. If not, would there be a replacement in place? If it wasnt for that problem, this would be the best faceplate.
*UPDATE* - 2/22/07
I contacted Camy regarding the problem with the faceplate preventing the UMD door from closing and here is their response:
Hi, we are aware of that problem and it is fixed in the final retail version.
So it seems they are aware of the situation and the batch we got was not the final retail version but looks it. Camy is nice enough to send us updated faceplates. We will update once we receive the retail version faceplates.

The CHUCKii Wii-mote is targeted at the lifeblood of the Wii console and basically, one does not even consider twice when purchasing an additional Wii-mote to supplement a 2 or 3-player game such as most games in Wii Sports. With this in mind, some of us prefer to bring along our very own wii-motes to our friend's place for a challenge but will hate to get your wii-motes mixed-up with your buddy's. Or perhaps, you prefer a customised look to your varied repertoire of styles. At Xtreme Enterprise, we understand your need to be different. Hence as promised, we roll out the initial prototype of the CHUCKii Wii-mote to our worldwide audiences. Colorwise, expect them to match our CHUCKii - Nunchuks as a set(Caution: As this is only a prototype, you may not like what you see. Images below are not suitable for unimaginative people). Enjoy!

Features :- Ideal for standard or HD TV’s
- Supports screen resolutions up to 480p
- 5 year warranty
- Stereo sound available through left and right RCA cables
- 1.80 meters long
Quality/Usability : (excerpt from our Wii Component Review)With Nintendo own Official component cables being sold out and hard to find, 3rd party manufacturers are releasing their own.
Those who have high-definition TV sets must and I mean MUST get component cables for all their home consoles. If you have a high-def TV and still using composite cables, why even own a high-def TV in the first place?!
Component cables make a huge difference when it comes to graphics, details and color. The quality of these component cables are great. They're definitely better than composite cables that came with the Nintendo Wii console. Unfortunatley, since I couldnt get my hands on Nintendo's component cable, I can't compare.
Yes, another component cable review. This time, from Talismoon. As with all other products made by Talismoon, you can expect top quality production of their products.
After reviewing all these cables, they are all starting to look the same but after giving my eyes a rest, its good to go!
I have to say, these cables are on the same level as the Official Nintendo Wii Component Cable and Penguin United Premium Component Cable. Clarity of images and textures are clear and the colors are vibrant. Just like all the other cables, when a GameCube game was inserted, the Wii asked if I wanted to switch to Progressive Scan and they looked crisp.
Conclusion : Overall, the Talismoon Component Cable is another nice substitution. Honestly, its all about preference. Some gamers prefer Official products only, some prefer lower price, some want the expensive stuff. For $20, the price is unbeatable.

Wii PAK Carry Bag
Manufacturer: PEGA
Site: Buy from Brando
Price: $17.00
Overview : This carrying bag is specially designed for the Wii console. It provides slots for you to place the Wii console, controllers, games and other accessories.
Features :- Protect your Wii and accessories in transport
- Convenient to carry
- Double zipper design
Quality/Usability : Everytime I go to a relatives house, I bring my Nintendo Wii with me as it is a great console for get-togethers and will get everyone involved. I have been using my promo Nintendo GameCube Messenger bag that I received from E3 a couple years ago. Although it carried all accessories and my console, it lacked protection. I had to put the sensor bar in a padded envelope, Wii console in a box, controllers in a bag and cables just thrown into the bag. With all that shoved in to the bag, it still left some room for my games (with cases).
I thought it was time to move the Wii out of the messenger bag into a case that was more fitted for the Wii. Thats where the Wii PAK Carry Bag comes in. By the looks of the picture, the bag looks big. But dont let that fooled you because it fooled me. Once you see it up close and personal, the case is actually small.
There is a two compartments. One is for the Wii console itself and the other is for your controllers. Theres also a zippered pocket on the front, velcro pocket on the back and when you open the big main compartment that holds the Wii, there is four little pouches and five disc holders.
The main compartment holds the Nintendo Wii console. The Wii fits snug inside but once its placed it, there is an open area (see image below). What I did was place the stand that came with the console on top. This will prevent the system from moving during transit. Since this compartment is the biggest, I also shoved in the sensor bar and tucked the cables into the little pouch that holds the Wii in place. The image below shows the sensor bar on top of the Wii console, which you can also do if you dont use the stand.
The second compartment is for your controllers/cables/power adapter. There are two elastic bands to hold your accessories in place. I personally use it just for my cables/power adapter considering I have two Wii Remotes and two Nunchuks and both have controller gloves on the, I wouldnt be able to fit them all into that little pouch.
On the front of the second compartment is a zippered pocket. This would be perfect for your manuals or anything small and thin. You wouldnt be able to fit anything else in there. The same goes for the back side of the bag with the velcro pouch. This is only good for documents as its a really really tight fit.
Lets go back to the main compartment. On the opposite side of where the Wii is stored, there are five disc holders and four little pouches. The four little pouches is good enough to hold your SD cards. Dont know what else is there for the Wii that is the size of SD cards. The disc pouch does just that, hold your Wii games and keeps them all together.
Conclusion : Overall, the Wii PAK Carry Bag is small, compact and holds all your Nintendo Wii products. But its a little too small. The pocket that holds the cables and controllers, you wouldnt be able to fit a lot in there if you have four of each controller. It either hold the cables or your controllers. I decided to place the cables in the second compartment since its already a tight fit and adding the controllers in to the mix may cause buttons to be pressed thus causing the battery to drain. If the bag/pouches were slightly bigger, it would be a great case not to mention a little pouch for the sensor bar. Now, I just have to carry my controllers in a separate bag.
