Nintendo World Store Pokémon Diamond/Pearl launch event

Nintendo World Store has been on a role with providing special events for Nintendo gamers. First it was TMNT, then Cooking Mama: Cook Off and now, Pokémon Diamond/Pearl.

On April 22nd, Nintendo World Store will be turned into a Pokémon paradise to celebrate the launch of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. From 1pm-5pm, Pokémon gamers and fans of all ages can meet Sinnoh's starter Pokémon in their first U.S. appearance and enjoy some Pokémon fun! Doors open at 9am so you can be among the first in the country to pick up your pre-ordered copies of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl.

What's in store for the big party? They go Poké Ball scavenger hunt, live stage events, contest and cool prizes like exclusive Pokémon Nintendo DS Lite units, Pokémon gear and even tickets to great summer sporting events! Want to see Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl in action? Nintendo World Store will have interactive game stations set up where you can experience the exciting features of these new games! They will also have a Trading Card Game play area and a movie lounge to check out the latest Pokémon film, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea.
